We recently purchased a resale contract at Animal Kingdom Villas through DVC Resale Market with agent Derek DeBoer, and could not have had a better experience. We saved $11,400 compared to direct Disney pricing - a discount of about 53% ! My job has been incredibly stressful lately, with lots and lots of long hours. We put our next offer on an Animal Kingdom Villas listing, at a bit under asking price. The seller at first counter offered, we declined counteroffer. Then Derek emailed to say that the seller reconsidered and accepted our original offer! This one escaped the ROFR monster, seeming to come right AFTER a bit of a tidal wave of AK buybacks had just subsided! Now we get to help feed those giraffes 🦒! We love staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and look forward to 30 years or so of vacations there or thereabouts, taking the time to get to experience as much as we can out of our dvc membership. And now, even if the parks are feeling a bit pricey or crowded, I know I can grab some amazing food and drinks and relax on “my”balcony, watching “my” Savannah of animals, before or after visiting a couple of signature pools where the kids can go down the waterslide on repeat...
