Dr. Allison Arthur is the best! She's so kind and accomodating aside from the fact that she's very good in her field. I was 20 mins late from my appointment but she still accomodated me. But I think their was a miscommunication regarding 2 issues why I came to see her. Her MA said that I have no schedule for my other issue. I explained thoroughly my situation and condition and asked her to relay it to Dr. Arthur. At first, she was adamant, but I was almost at the brink of crying and pleaded her to explain to Dr. Arthur to please check on me. Dr. Arthur finally came in with her usual pleasant and friendly demeanor. I again explained to her my concern. Without hesitation, she checked my issue and gave me positive feed back and even gave me a prescription that could help me in place of the topical med I stopped using due to side effect. After checking, she proceeded to do the other treatment. I was so much relieved (i was stressing out from losing so much hair eveyday for a month now) when she said that my scalp looks healthy and she didn't see any infection. She even explained the pros and cons of the oral med she prescribed and to watch for any side effects, which I find very helpful to me as her patient. She's not the type of just look at you and scribble prescription, period. She's very thorough and I love and respecr her for that. Oh, did I say, she's very pretty too?...

I had my first appointment with Sand Lake Dermatology Center on the 30th of December. At first I wasn’t expecting much because that area of Dr Phillips always has a traffic Challenge (with a capital C) and I was fairly frustrated that I was going to be five minutes late. But once in, the parking was fantastic in the back. What a pleasant surprise. It even had covered parking!

Once in I was greeted warmly and the office was lovely. Attractive but very warm.

The assistant was kind and the doctor was absolutely wonderful. I am a larger woman but she was kind, explained everything well, and never once was I size-shamed. I felt very respected and was more knowledgeable about why I was there.

Upon check out the lady was helpful, greeted me nicely, and as a bonus, they have a thoroughly stocked retail area of creams and hats, etc. It truly is a one-stop shop.

Don’t put up with an office that you aren’t 100% comfortable with. And please don’t let the traffic discourage you - just leave a bit more travel time to maneauver through it. Instead make an appointment here! Do it now! I highly recommend it.

2023 comment: Always have had a good experience with Dr Mailler. Have been her patient for over 12 years. Her nurse Ruth is over the top, she provided best care during my visit, a true nurse's nurse. Thanks for the wonderful care. 2024 comment: Back again this year for 3 more cancers on my face. Again I received great service and care from Dr. Mailler and her assistants. She has performed so many surgeries on me over the past 13 years, that we tell each other that we have to stop meeting like this. When the VA tells me they are sending me out to the community for MOHS surgery, I always ask to be sent to Dr. Mailler because she is the best and I trust her and her assistants. 2025 comment: Back once more for another procedure. This time for an area on my forehead. Again as always I got great treatment and care from D. Mailler and her team.
