Stopped here on a trip in from Chicago. I'm originally from the area, and my mom always raved about their coffee. Now I know why: The selection of coffee is phenomenol, and it is so FRESH! Also, the young gal who helped me was SO impressive! She knew the acidity, roast level, origin and taste notes of EVERY single coffee I asked her about! Plus, she had the most pleasant personality--very upbeat and cheerful. (Wish I would have gotten her name so I could give her proper recognition here.)

It was such a pleasure to walk into that shop. Wish I had more time before I had to head back to Chicago. Shop owners in the Chicago area could take a lesson from this lovely young lady who helped me: She knew her product, she knew exactly what grind is needed for specific brewing methods, and she knew how to give phenomenal...

Been stopping here everytime I travel through Dubuque. I found it when was told you could purchase Abbey if the Mississippi caramels there. Fell in love with cute little store.I had my 92 year old mom with me on June 23rd Sunday afternoon and they were wonderful with her. They helped us get her up steps and in with her walker. They showed her things chatted with her about cooking and things they have. There how they make them different. Then helped us with getting her back down. They gave a lot of respect and dignity. I was extremely tired of expensive cups of coffee, also living and working in East Dubuque there is only bad gas station coffee available. After purchasing a home expresso machine to solve my problems I now needed GOOD fresh beans and wanted to support locally. WOW!! Did I find the gem of the tri states in thsi awesome little shop filled with all kinds of local goodness from coffee to candy to spices to honey to just plain locally grown and produced LOVE!! 😍🫶 These flavors are amazing and they got those candy berries to bring back your childhood memories 😋 15 out...
