Great Sounds Audio Video — Local services in Dubuque

My first purchase of a home theater was done with the wonderful staff of Great Sounds! I used to sell A/V equipment through Circuit City when they were open and I thought I knew my stuff pretty well. Well, I got nothing on them! The process of building my home theater began with some equipment I already owned and was still in good shape. I was never pressured into purchasing anything that wasn't needed to get the best bang for my buck. I turned what was a halfway decent sounding system, into a true home theater I'm happy to show off to my friends and guests who visit my home. If there is ever a small hiccup with any of the equipment, I have never had a problem with somebody walking me through how to fix it over the phone, or if necessary, a home visit to calibrate and optimize everything on site. I was looking for a 55 inch flat screen when my old decided to leave me with no TV. I happen to call Great Sounds at closing time and Brandon took the time to explain the difference and settled on a OLED because of it's "Blacks are truly Black" was one of his comments. I called right at closing time and Brandon said he would wait until I get there to pickup the TV. I said no I would be in the next couple of days but he emailed me some literature and saved one for me to pick up later. I pick it up on Saturday and wow! My first movie I enjoyed was "Small thin red line" war movie that was filmed with grassy hill, the grass in the fore ground and the clouds in the back were incredibly in FOCUS.
