I had experienced the worst customer service with this Salon. I made a 5pm appointment 5 days in advance to do a hair perm and cut. The day before, Sonya called me and asked me she will reschedule my appointment to 2pm. I told her that I can’t come at 2pm and can only come at 5pm. After a long explanation on the phone (because I have work), she finally understood and we stayed the 5pm appointment. Then, due to traffic jam, I drove 56 minutes to the Salon with 13 minutes late. (I actually called her in advance for the possible lateness and she was fine with that.) When I got there, Sonya said I am late and she can’t do the perm and cut. She took 30 minutes talking to me through a translator, repeating that she can’t do the perm and cut. If we had started as soon as I arrive, we should have had at least one of the tasks (either perm or haircut) done! I can’t believe she kept on persuading me to make another appointment, just like what she tried to talked me off the 5pm appointment the day before! From where I live to the Salon, it was a 50-minutes drive. The whole thing is so ridiculous that even the translator didn’t understand why Sonya can’t just go ahead to start the perm. I ended up left the Salon without getting anything done after 5-day’s waiting, nearly one-hour drive, and 30-minutes discussion with Sonya. This experience demonstrates a few things about this Salon: 1) Sonya is inflexible at all in helping the client; 2) She has no interest in making a good client experience. 3) Sonya is very unprofessional. If the situation happened with other hair dresser, they would not waste anytime talking, instead, they would just get things done quickly, multi-tasking, or even asking me to wait (if there are any clients waiting in the queue). Read moreI hate to leave a bad review but I had to today. I book an appointment a 5 days early to get “straight perm” and the lady told me to come in Friday at 8am because it’ll be busy. The salon open at 9am and I had to get there 1 hour early! My dad worked night shift and woke up extra early to drive 1hr to drop me off at the Salon. About 7 minutes after he left the lady call me to wash hair and I even sat down already. She said perm? And I said straight perm because that’s what I told her when I booked the appointment. And she was like “oh no, no straight perm today, today very busy.” Like what?! Just because it’s busy doesn’t mean I can’t get mine done even though I booked an appointment 5 days ahead? This is so disappointing. If it’s so busy, why can she text or call us not to come today? Worst customer service. My mom and I loved here but I cannot anymore. We woke up super early and drove 1hr and get to the salon 1 hour ahead because she told us to, but now it’s a waste.
