This was my first time at this café and I was really excited to try the food and drinks. Unfortunately, I was let down by both the service and the food quality.

As a first-time visitor, I didn’t realize you had to reserve a study room. I went with three friends and we were told to leave the room by an employee (possibly the owner), who said the space was only for reservations or groups of six or more. We completely understood and left the room, respecting their rules. We went downstairs to ask how we could reserve a room, however, the owner seemed irritated when we asked and told us we had to call the store even though we were already there???? I then asked if it would be okay for us to stay in one of the EMPTY rooms even though we were just four people. She eventually agreed, but the whole experience left us feeling like we were a bother rather than welcome customers.

As for the food and drinks, they were nothing special. I ordered a pepperoni pizza that looked nothing like the display since it was extremely thin and definitely not worth nearly $8. :( The study room also only had two outlets, which isn’t nearly enough for a group of people trying to study or work.

Went here the 1st time and it will be the last. We wanted the lunch menu, it says clearly from 11.30 until closing. The lady at the front could barely speak english. She said there is no lunch only breakfast. We came all the way here and wanted to give the shop a try so we decided to choose breakfast items. I asked if they have milk substitute like almond milk. The same lady said, they don't have almond milk. I repeated her sentence to make sure I understand her and then she asks another worker and the other worker said they do have almond milk. Our order number was 91. We got 2 drinks, a pretzel, and 2 breakfast items were missing. After 20 min. I ask the lady if our breakfast is done since she called out other numbers (starting 101). She wanted my receipt and said they will make it now which it's confusing since she should have a second receipt in her system. After a while we still didn't receive our food. I had to got to the kitchen front and the food was done but no one let me now. Terrible management, the lunch time is misleading, the workers are rude and can't speak proper English and don't know what they are doing. The food wasn't good either,...

As a coffee enthusiast, I welcome new coffee shops in the area. I ordered an iced Americano to gauge the basics. One characteristic of an iced Americano is its crisp acidity, which was evident at first sip. However, this was quickly overshadowed by a lingering burnt, roasted (over-roasting) flavor, likely due to the use of cheaper roasted beans. This was a bit disappointing for someone passionate about coffee.

I also ordered the "Tom n Dog Pretzel," which took an unusually long 30 minutes to arrive. Considering it only needed to be heated, the delay was puzzling. After inquiring, it was finally brought to me. The sausage itself was too salty, and the pretzel wrapping was more like a lightly baked dough, lacking the distinct pretzel taste. It seemed like an attempt to mimic pretzel dogs (aka sausage pretzel bites) but fell short in taste, flavor and texture.

The staff's lack of professionalism was noticeable.

Do yourself a favor: walk a few feet over to the other coffee shop. You'll get better coffee and bites and support a business that actually deserves to be there. I, for one, am done...
