Going in I was so excited to start looking for that perfect dress. First entering we took off our shoes and waited. When they took my name they told me who would be assisting me with my appointment. Then silence.. they didn’t seat us they didn’t say I’ll be with you in a few minutes. So my mother and I started looking at wedding dresses since we were excited to get started. When my sister and infant nephew walked over to us the assistant followed and then immediately let us know that they like the bride (putting emphasis on the bride) to be the one to pull dresses not the family/friends that accompanied her. My mom got pretty defensive at this because she’s the one who chose a dress for me to try. It made me feel weird for the rest of the appointment. The assistant also told us that they would like us to pull dresses more my size so I can get the full picture and not have to worry about clamping them. Part of me thinks she told me this because when she did clamp me a few times she didn’t do a great job and one dress that was too big on me she said “oh I don’t need to clamp this one it’s a size 10, don’t get upset at the sizing” I’m a size 4… ultimately I ended on a dress that surprised myself and my group but it didn’t compare to what I found elsewhere. I’m sure there are amazing experiences but the style and feel I was going for just wasn’t in this particular store. I also didn’t like how the assistant stood at my door awkwardly waiting for me to open it to potentially need clamps. I wanted my authentic reaction to be in the big mirror with my group. Also, if there is a unmarked rule that try ons should be with your size or close to it with less clamping then the store should really get a better selection because most of my interest were in dresses that were on the bigger sized sections. But I felt like I couldn’t venture over there because what...
Read moreI have lots of problems with this place.
First, they are not size inclusive. Anything bigger than a small? You will feel hideous and hulk like in every dress you try on, they have very few “plus size” dresses and they are all plain.
My Biggest issue. THEY MADE ONE OF MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES THE WRONG COLOR!! Granted it was a more complicated order we did 5 dresses from them each one a different color. When trying to correct this I was met with snotty and rude behavior. I called them the second we found out to make sure we had enough time to fix this and I wanted to come in that night to make sure the other dresses were correct. When I came in they were hesitant to show me the other dresses and kept telling me to come back tomorrow. I was also blamed for the dress not being the right color. I was told there would be no refund on the wrong dresses and we’d have to pay for half of a new one.
Now I have the stress of a dress that will still need alterations not coming until less than a month before the big day. AND I have been met with rude workers who haven’t even apologized to me in person, over the phone, or via text.
I do not recommend this place for wedding dresses especially not bridesmaids dresses. If you are able the wedding shoppe in St. Paul Minnesota has more options, much kinder staff, and cheaper bridesmaids dress with the...
Read moreMy visit to Bella Rose Bridal was nothing short of amazing. We had the entire boutique to ourselves, which made the appointment feel so personal and relaxed. Misty, who worked with us, was absolutely wonderful — she has a true gift with people. She listened closely to both me and my friends, took in our feedback, and never pushed or emphasized any particular dress. Instead, she made me feel beautiful, comfortable, and completely accepted at every step.
Her experience really showed. She was able to help me try on a size 22 sample in a way that let me actually see how the gown would look in my size, which required two rows of clips! Even outside of the appointment, Bella Rose went above and beyond — I received a handwritten card in the mail a week later, with the name of the dress I loved most included, plus personal notes complimenting my candor and style. The fact that Misty remembered those details about me and took the time to write them down speaks volumes about how much she genuinely cares about her brides.
Bella Rose Bridal is the kind of place where you don’t just shop for a dress — you feel seen, valued, and celebrated. I can’t recommend...
