The Loft in Duluth — Local services in Duluth

THEY ARE NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Contrary to what to google would have you believe. Evidently, in the summer months, they do not open on Sundays at all. When they do open on Sundays (wintertime only-see my photo I took of the hours in the photo section), they are open only until 3 o'clock NOT 4 o'clock. Sadly, Google doesn't give you the editing ability to include seasonal hours. Therefore, I hope if someone were here visiting from a far off land (Texas, for example) like I am, they would have an opportunity to read this review prior to driving out to this location on a Sunday. I gave the store five stars because I didn't want to ruin the rating based on a Google mistake and it wouldn't let me write a review without a rating.

Very nice and creative little secondhand store that is in the upstairs loft of the Bridal shop on this corner. Note: Not handicapped accessible. Requires walking up the stairs to get there. They get new stuff weekly (at least) and are constantly rotating through clothes on the racks. I only saw women clothing and accessories. Styles varied, but seemed to have less junior and young adult styles than other styles. Prices are fair. Dresses seems to be around $20-30 for most, pants usually $10-20, but anything designer is usually more. I got a beautiful North Face vest for only $16 so it just depends on the item. My main con: I wish they'd play music there! It seems eerily quiet and most people are used to shopping with some sort of background music. Great place, I will definitely check it out again...

Every year my grandma, my mom, and I go to the loft in Duluth. It's something we look forward to so much that it is our first stop once we get to Duluth. Everytime we go to the loft we have such a good time and the staff is so nice and accommodating except for this summer. The sales associate, Anne was very rude and condescending. There was no "hi, how are you?" when we walked into the store. She acted like we were wasting her time and she wanted us out of there.
