Don’t get me wrong, happy to have a distillery in Lincoln Park! My partner and I went there two times in their opening week. The space itself is very welcoming and fitting for Duluth. Drinks took a while to complete: my partner had the Blackberry Bramble but they were out of gin; had to sub whiskey instead and he still liked it. I had a vodka seltzer, but the bartender initially forgot the vodka… overall decent drinks but not outstanding and service felt unorganized. Food was the kicker for us. The queso we ordered came with lobster bits in it… this was not advertised on the menu, nor was it good to eat. Could be dangerous for people with shellfish allergies as there was no heads up. 2nd time around the panini was very small and unspectacular, Mac n cheese with brisket had what looked like hot dog on it. We’re understanding this place is new but overall we were dissatisfied with the quality of the food and drinks we received. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Whiskey Project is a total gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — the perfect mix of classy and relaxed.

The drinks were top-notch — you can tell they take pride in crafting a solid cocktail menu with something for everyone.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and just genuinely great people who make the experience even better.

I had no idea Duluth Whiskey Project served food until someone told me last week, and I’m so glad I checked it out! I stopped in for lunch and was blown away. The mac & cheese with pork chile verde was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere inside is super cool and it feels like a true Duluth gem.
