Don’t get me wrong, happy to have a distillery in Lincoln Park! My partner and I went there two times in their opening week. The space itself is very welcoming and fitting for Duluth. Drinks took a while to complete: my partner had the Blackberry Bramble but they were out of gin; had to sub whiskey instead and he still liked it. I had a vodka seltzer, but the bartender initially forgot the vodka… overall decent drinks but not outstanding and service felt unorganized. Food was the kicker for us. The queso we ordered came with lobster bits in it… this was not advertised on the menu, nor was it good to eat. Could be dangerous for people with shellfish allergies as there was no heads up. 2nd time around the panini was very small and unspectacular, Mac n cheese with brisket had what looked like hot dog on it. The drinks were top-notch — you can tell they take pride in crafting a solid cocktail menu with something for everyone.
