The Malting Building — Attraction in Duluth

I chose this venue to host a new fundraiser dinner for work. It’s right down the street from the office, the space is gorgeous especially with the bistro lights on.

The bridal suite was great for selfies, the food was excellent (wood-grilled chicken breast in brandy cream served with oven, roasted garlic, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables; dinner salad with balsamic dressing; and wood-fired apple crisp à la mode with caramel sauce). Since our organization does not serve alcohol at functions, the Clyde offered us custom mocktails, which were amazing.

Having owned a Duluth based DJ/Photo Booth/& Event Lighting company (AT Entertainment) for over 15 years I have been to hundreds of venues throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will be hard pressed to find a venue that can match either the Clyde building or their new Malting Building especially when you throw in the quality of service you and your guests receive. I have been a vendor at countless events they have had, and they always deliver exactly what they promise. Well done...

Took my mom out to eat for her birthday yesterday and she enjoyed her meal. But my medium rare burger was overcooked and almost charred and very very dry. I was very unhappy with my meal. I love the place being that its an old iron works building and a restaurant/concert venue but the food isn't the greatest. You'd think a place like that would have sirloin steak on the menu but nope!
