Stockman's The Cowboy Store — Local services in Duncan

I’m on the fence with giving this place 3 stars instead of less. To be fair, I would like to start off by saying how much I love the vibe of the store itself. The entire aesthetic is adorable. A little back story- I’m 6ft tall and 170lbs. I wear a size 11 shoe. This is the ONLY store in Duncan OK that carries the shoes I like in my size and the jeans they carry have the length that I need as well. My daily wear is a generic tee & yoga pants. Do I LOOK like I belong in this store when I walk in? Not really. So, with that being said, I feel like this store needs to teach their employees some Customer Service. Let them know that even though some patrons come in not dressed to the 9’s… we have money to spend too. I walked in today a little before 2pm with my teenage daughter. We were looking for jeans. There were two ladies standing at a counter towards the back of the store. Only 2 cars in the parking lot besides mine. No one was shopping. They were not occupied in any way other than with each other. Neither of them greeted us when we walked in. We were in there a total of 25 minutes. My daughter tried on 5 pairs of jeans. Not one time did either of them offer assistance or ask if they could help with anything. They honestly never acknowledged our presence in the store!! My daughter found a Jean size and style she loved !! BUT - we will NOT be buying them at this location. We will go anywhere but here to spend our cash. You should put in a self checkout!! That would be more helpful than your employees. Y’all would have made a sale...
