I visited the market on Saturday, July 9th about 9:15am in search of green tomatoes and they had some, however, in between picking a few out...I heard the cashier as a gentleman a question and he just went off! he was yelling at her about how she and why she keeps asking him that (I am not really clear on what she was asking him). There were a few customers in the store, but his behavior was so uncalled for, unprofessional and down right rude. The cashier was older than him and it just bothers me to see someone in management speak to anyone in that manner as if that person is BENEATH you! I truly doubt it if I even shop in there again, I do plan to get his name and also write the Better Business Bureau because that bothered me. I dare my son to speak to anyone the way he spoke to her. As I checked out...I asked who was the Manager and she pointed to him (a different cashier, not the lady he was yelling at) and I made a comment to her about his actions and advised her I would be going on to this website. This incident was ridiculous and there was a better way to handle it. You are a very rude Manager Sir and I hope you don't get too far in life with that attitude! Sorry, I hope they can get a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI currently have a broken ankle and can't drive, so I have to rely on delivery--I was excited to see on the website that they deliver. However, all 3 times I have ordered, there have been issues. As in, they don't pull the order. All three times the deliveries have not arrived in the time slot assigned-and when I call the store to ask where it is... it hasn't even been pulled. By the time they finally actually pull the items (at 6:30 pm) for order I placed at 9am, everything is out of stock BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T PULL IT EARLIER.
In this economy, if someone is placing a $200+ order for less than 20 items, maybe you should actually give good service and not be rude and argumentative when they call inquiring about an order that is HOURS late. As much as I want to support small local businesses, it is hard to do when they keep screwing up and the employees are rude or outright lie and say they don't deliver, never received order, etc--when I have email conformation you accepted the DELIVERY ORDER.
Third time screwing up is the charm--I will be switching to Sprouts for all future delivery orders and...
