This Turkish coffee shop is hands down one of the coolest spots in town. Located in a beautifully repurposed old gas station, the place has an eclectic charm that makes it stand out. The moment you walk in, you're hit with amazing vibes – a mix of vintage flair and cozy comfort that creates the perfect hangout.
The coffee is exceptional, especially if you love authentic Turkish brews. Rich, bold, and full of flavor – it’s the real deal! What makes this place even more special is the variety of board games available. Whether you're into classics like backgammon or want to try something new, it’s a fun and social way to enjoy your time here.
Despite the lively atmosphere, it's surprisingly easy to get work done. The balance between a social, buzzing energy and a laid-back, work-friendly environment is perfect. The staff are always super friendly and make you feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a unique café experience with fantastic coffee, fun board games, and a vibe like no other – all in a revamped gas station – this is the spot you’ve been waiting for! Now for the coffee and bakery items:
Honey Lavender Latte: The perfect blend of honey and lavender. Unlike most lavender drinks, there's no overpowering floral taste—just a smooth and balanced flavor.
Sugar Cookie Matcha: It tasted like regular matcha to me. The sugar cookie flavor might be too subtle, especially if you're a fan of strong matcha.
Raspberry Shortcake Frappe: A true party for your taste buds! If you have a sweet tooth, this one is a must-try.
Turkish Pot: This is authentic Turkish coffee at its finest—rich, bold, and simply to die for.
Croissant: It’s a standard croissant. If you like croissants, this will do the job, but nothing extraordinary.
Cinnamon Cruffin: A great choice if you're looking for something sweet and buttery. Heavier than a regular croissant, but still a nice treat.
Vegan Strawberry Guava Pop-Tart: Flavor is a solid 10/10—just the right amount of sweetness. My only wish is that it could be a bit more toasted for that perfect bite.
Out of everything I ordered, I keep going back to the Pop-Tart. Even without that classic pop-tart essence, it's still...
Read moreI wanted to really give this shop a fair shot, I work near by so it convenient. The last time I went I was trying to order over the phone which they don't do. So meh a little annoying but not too bad. Today I order my drink and went to grab my food so I can eat before my shift (two birds one stone.) The baristas never said anything. (I was pretty much done eating, he walked by once, said nothing) 5 min later comes back..)There was 0 customers in there at all. NO ONE. Someone who I can only assume is the owner of this gas station/state inspection high class coffee shop, walks up to me and doesn't skip a beat... Tells me to take my food outside, that my food was "loud" (it was chipotle) and ended it with "this is a coffee shop" and walked away... I said no words cause he didn't even give me a chance to. Just like that blatantly told me to get out. So do with this as you may but that's not how you treat customers. I walked right out looked for a sign which is int the lower left hand corner that ANYONE would miss.. He could of handled it completely different...
Read moreI get to have Gahwena coffee in a booth in VRIC. Here is what I have to say.
The coffee is always smooth and flavorful. It's never bitter or burnt, and it always has a rich, complex flavor. I've tried all of their different blends, and I've never been disappointed. Honey added with cappuccino did it for me.
I think the secret to their success is their commitment to quality. They use only the freshest beans, and they roast them in-house. They also take the time to brew each cup of coffee to perfection.
The owners Emad and Moumin are both passionate about coffee. They know a lot about coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles. They're always happy to chat with customers about coffee and make recommendations. They're also happy to experiment with new flavors and blends.
If you're looking for a great cup of coffee, I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. I am super excited for them to open up at...
