My grandmother who suffered from dementia lived here for two years she recently passed away from covid. When she fell ill the director phoned my father to tell him his mother was in her last days and a hospice team was going to be treating her and he needed to fly out to say his goodbyes. When he got into town she had passed and he was allowed into her room no one at the facility told him she had covid he found out when he called a medical research company that my grandma wanted to use to donate her body to told him that they could not take her due to her having covid. When he confronted the director she stated she had texted him that his mother had covid and he must not have received the text. On top of that in the year she was locked up with no visitors all her jewelry went missing including her dead husband's wedding band . Stay away from this...

I am a caregiver for a resident in memory care at Good Life in Duncanville, TX. I am there almost every day and seeing the care that is given to all the residents and to the one for which I am responsible . I have been associated with Good Life for over a year and with other memory care facilities in this area. This is privately owned and not a corporation. I cannot say enough good about the care, love, meals, staff, director and all the responsibilities that is associated with a memory care facility than at Good Life in Duncanville. UPDATE!! This was my mom's home for 2 years! BEST decision to move her here from her previous facility. The staff are genuinely loving, caring people and attentive to the residence.. It feels like a home-like atmosphere. Thank you DSL for taking care of my mom. I will be forever grateful!
