GAMECO Joplin — Local services in Duquesne

I've been coming here over the years. Not as often as I would like, but every I do I am greeted with a kind and hospitable staff. The owner, managers and employees are always helpful and understanding. Another amazing thing about this store is all of the memorabilia and collectables they have for display. They are always updating and adding to their collection, which makes the environment and atmosphere even more inviting to the kid and kid at heart. Always something fun to look at and learn about. Their prices are better than you find at Vintage Stock and obviously Gamestop. They offer you better deals on your items as well. Love going here, and I encourage anyone who hasn't to go as well. Picked up a couple of Switch games today and I kindly let one of the employees know that they had a Preowned Switch game priced at 42 dollars when it is priced brand new at Walmart for 25 bucks. Just as a courtesy to help the store out. I didn't need this particular game, but figured it would be helpful for them. He stated that the prices needed to be updated and that the new price would be 36 dollars. I told him that is still 11 dollars higher than the price of the game brand new. He advised me that they do not price games according to other stores new prices. That might be the wildest thing I've ever heard, and will be very mindful of future purchases with them. Preowned prices should not be more than new prices....

Gameco is the only place I will buy video games or consoles. I recently got a used PS4 from vintage stock and it was dirty and the controller was sticky. I went over to GameCo and was talking to the staff about it and they told me to take the PS4 back and get a refund because they had a PS4 that was $30 cheaper than the one I got from VS and it was still in the original package. When I got the PS4 from them it was golden with a gold controller. They even threw in the new Spider-Man game for free. The customer service is beyond phenomenal and they always have the newest games cheaper than anyone else. If the game is $60 at GameStop then it’s only $45 or $50 at GameCo. 5...
