The online order ahead option is very convenient. Since they discontinued my favorite smoothie (Triple Berry Oat) I had to experiment with other smoothie flavors. I finally found one I can work with after some adjustments. Ordering online allows me to reorder the same thing every time without worrying that I forgot a step/ingredient. I spend very little time in the store. There was a time when most of the staff knew me and my order. Since Covid, I don't recognize anyone. Half the time I just holler thank you as I leave because there's no one up front when I pick up my order. It's a little less of a friendly atmosphere through no real fault of their own. I really like the drive thru option in Carthage. EDIT: walked in picked up my order there were at least 2 staff up front. Nobody even acknowledged my presence. I haven't been by in months. I tried to recreate my triple berry oat smoothie again. The oats were an additional $1+. I spent $9 without a tip for blueberries strawberries cranberry (juice?) half turbinado and ice. Read moreCalled and placed my order at 5:02pm. I went in at around 5:10pm and then I waited TWENTY MINUTES for my food. Then the woman behind the counter walks up to me and asks me what my name and order was because she thinks they accidentally threw away the receipt. I told her what it was and then she went to the window and grabbed the order that had been sitting there SINCE I FIRST WALKED IN, then she proceeded to pretend to open the fridge and add something to the bag(spoiler:she didn’t actually add anything to the bag, nothing I got was refrigerated, she just wanted me to think it wasn’t ready yet or something? Lol) On my lunch break at work and super hungry, I took a bite in the car and then threw it away in the first trash can I found. The prepackaged chips were good though. FIRST and LAST time ever going here.
**Edit upon response from owner: having young employees does not give a good justification for wasting a person’s time. My time is worth something, and it was wasted today. With properly trained employees, age shouldn’t mean anything. You just justified your mistakes and masked it as an apology. Poor customer...
