I was at this Target location today for 10 minutes. I went to the jewelry dept. for a pair of inexpensive earrings and a necklace for my recently deceased mother to wear for her funeral service and burial at the end of the week. While browsing the jewelry section, I noticed a Target employee standing approximately 10 feet away filming me with her mobile phone. She kept the phone trained on me at all times, regardless of where I moved around the jewelry rack. Note that this was not expensive or fine jewelry behind a case, this was cheap jewelry on a rack. I looked directly at her, she kept recording. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps she was recording the rack itself and it had nothing to do with me? I even asked at one point "am I ruining your shot?" She ignored me and kept filming a few seconds longer. Finally, she lowered her phone and walked to the front of the store where the registers are located. The incident felt extremely targeted. The employee was a caucasian female with shoulder length blonde hair and I am a middle-aged African American woman professionally dressed with long dreadlocks. Instead of the typical red Target shirt, she was dressed in a white blouse and dark pants. Perhaps a manager? Either way, I was absolutely stunned. I will definitely contact the store manager, corporate office and possibly an attorney concerning this. I will NOT shop at this Target location again and will share this experience with as many people as...
Read moreIF YOU’RE A PET OWNER (CAT OWNER IN PARTICULAR) RUN FAR FROM TARGET!!!!
My wife and I came in today to buy some wet cat food and a few other items. As we were leaving, we noticed a foul and sour smell coming from the car, but assumed it was something from somewhere else. However, as soon as we got home, we noticed that the box of Fancy Feast we just bought was the source of the smell and opened the box only to find maggots inside with the cans. Both my wife and I were absolutely HORRIFIED that Target could be selling this on their shelves. We immediately placed it in a trash bag and took it back to exchange. However, as soon as I got back to the wet food area MULTIPLE BOXES WERE ALREADY EXPIRED STILL ON THE SHELVES FOR SALE!! The earliest I saw that was still on the shelf was to discard after 9/25/25. This was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I had to rush back to my wife to tell her not to do the exchange!! I had asked to speak with a manager but Matthew had de-escalated the situation despite how angry we both were!! I’m absolutely APPALLED that this is Target’s standard for pet owners and the store manager’s expectations for their staff. The ONLY reason this review isn’t 1 star is because of Matthew’s de-escalation, even then, he did just tell us to try another store without even calling another to see if they had better stock. He did provide a refund and was...
Read moreThis location is one of the worst I've ever been to. Ever since the redesign, the customer shopping experience has deteriorated. From the layout change that was a combination of jarring and confusing, after having shopped there for years, to the fact that they restock in the middle of the day.
Not only Are they in the way of shoppers while they're restocking, there are pallets and hand trucks everywhere blocking aisles. The shelves look a mess and certainly not full, as there are boxes waiting to be stocked all over the store.
But when you look in different sections such as the kitchen section or the bath section where the towels are just all over the place. It makes everything look cluttered and in a constant state of disarray.
Honestly, it makes me not want to shop there. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to another location for a better experience.
Having worked in retail I have experienced opinions and it simply seems like they don't care. From management down to floor staff, the way this store is run is doing nothing but making the brand look bad.
I guess some people have lower expectations or simply overlook it because they need to shop there, but I don't want to feel like I'm shopping at a Walmart in a Target. It's just...
