I pulled in to order some supper, I was greeted by an AI assistant and after waiting probably longer than 15 to 20 seconds or so there was no response from me answering the questions that the AI assisted robot through the box was asking me questions. To make a very long story short I was then greeted by someone named Kyle, which is the manager white male skinny pale complexion kind of a fuzzball haircut maybe 140 pounds max roughly 5’10” tall……. I was then told that I needed to slow down. I said excuse me what do you mean in a polite tone and manner mind you. The gentleman then said. You know what he was not a gentleman so I will call him a kid so the kid then said That he was offended. By the way I was talking to the AI assisted voice box. I said, excuse me once again, and then he proceeded to tell me if I wasn’t in such a hurry, I would’ve been able to get my order sooner but then he proceeded to tell me the kid. Yes I’m going to continue to call him. The kid that guy was extremely disrespectful. He then proceeds to tell me that I need to drive around the building cool off Because it seemed that I was upset with something because I was rushing things so much and then I could pick my order up, pay for it and leave so when I got up to the window, I said, where is the gentleman that I was speaking with through the intercom. Then the two employees at the window said oh he’s talking about Kyle they yell to the back Kyle. He comes up and I said in a polite manner, you have to be joking me right he said what do you mean sir? I said you’re gonna sit there and tell me How I’m in a hurry when a silly AI robot and I are trying to communicate??????? Then he proceeds to tell me that he was offended. By the way I spoke to the AI assisted robot lol at this point nothing’s funny and I’m just trying to get clarification on what it is that he got upset about that way I can make sure it never happens again. By the way, he did tell me that I needed to get a life and continued to cut me off, speak over me as well as pretty much telling me his feelings were hurt because of the way the interaction happened between the AI assisted voice through the drive-through. At this point I just want my food and I want to go home. They got my order wrong after all of this nonsense. I ordered creamy jalapeño sauce, 3 miles and three hot for two chicken quesadilla burritos Got home just to find out. I had no sauce and the order was wrong. Maybe both of us need to get a life, but I promise you if I was standing at the counter, ordering that order that little punk ass kid would not have been able to have the spine and say it to my face the way he was talking to me through the intercom and then at the window through the drive-through. Read moreNever in my life have I been more disgusted with a restaurant than this place. Went to pick up my Uber order from this restaurant which clearly says closes at 12. Get there and 10:00pm Monday June 27th 2022 to be ignored by the workers who are deciding to close early and can’t be bothered to come to the window or answer the phone to explain to the line that was wrapped around the building that they are closed early for god knows what reason. Waste of my gas to get to the place and waste of my time and the customers time. Instead I was treated with rolling eyes as I tried to get the workers attention and completely ignored. I’ve worked customer service for 10 years and never in my life have I ever been treated or treated a customer this way the screen was lit up with at least 4 orders one being my customers Uber order and 2 doordash orders and another customers online order all of us who of which even attempted to call the store for them to just pick the phone up and hang up the call. I’m disgusted with the attitude and lack of customer service that was displayed tonight. As of which I will probably never pick up from another Taco Bell for Uber again especially from this location because the customer service was disgusting. Both of those workers that worked at this location need to either be fired or written up because neither one should be working in customer service if this is the customer service that they are going to show to not only paying customers as they had a line of people with online orders but also 3rd party delivery drivers who are trying to deliver their orders for them absolutely disgusted with this establishment. Read moreI really shouldn't give the Westgate Dr. of Durham,NC a star at all. The cook purposely messed up my order 3 times back to back all because he had a terrible day I guess. The cook was also extremely rude to me tonight and other customers from earlier this day. If I were a secret shopper, this location would have really gotten a very low grade of poor customer service and lack of work ethics all because of the rude cook. I feel if he don't Know how to be professional at work he should not be there at all. I've wasted my gas and time multiple times just to get my meal right which have never gotten right at all. If he would have just done his job right the first time, there would not have been no reason for me to drive all the way back to Taco Bell in the first place. How ever I do respect the management and other workers there for their pleasants. How ever I just decided to get my money back and felt upset because I really wanted Taco Bell, but instead I had to settle with McDonald's and I don't even like eating there much. But I guess I'm glad that he did mess up my order for the last time because he probably had spit into my meal.
