Saks OFF 5TH — Local services in East Hanover

Not too much selection of clothing and poor sales. Most of the staff is okay except this white older lady I think the manager or supervisor who didn't want to give me the case for a sunglass I purchased. I have bought in the past same store 3 other sunglasses and didn't have to ask for a case. I got one automatic.... But on Friday I bought my 4th one and this lady told me that they were retailers that's why she wasn't going to give me one. I told her they always give me one and she said no have a nice evening... My daughter and me saw a drawer full of Kate Spade cases. Kept on telling her you do have cases they are in the drawer but would just ignore us. This is very disrespectful specially in this great location. I'm going back to the store and ask for an explanation or better yet I'm calling corporate I'm sure they will give me one. I was very confused...

Terrible customer service from the manager, Marc. I came in before 5:30 to return jewelry. I said “how ya doin,” and he greeted me with, “no returns past 4.” I jokingly responded, “but I just got off the clock!” How else does he think I or anyone else would have time to make returns? Most of society works, like he does. Then he turns to his coworker to tell her he’s gonna implement that policy for no returns past 4 this week/next week. I pause before I ask, “does returns past 4 make you guys close slower?” The lady next to him shook her head no. He said to me, “I was speaking to my coworker.” I asked, “are you the manager?” When he said yes, I was surprised. MANAGEMENT TAKE NOTE: I am giving THREE STARS because there is a nasty scowling sales clerk that cant manage to help you or say more than a one syllable yes or no! It's a balding man with glasses, boy is he miserable and ruins the shopping experience! NASTY to the core. I needed help with a HIGH END purchase and he grudgingly answered my few questions with "I don't know" and he wouldn't even look at me. Unsmiling miserable guy! GET RID OF HIM!
