I'm an ubereats driver and time is money. I arrived at the location, got out of my car, walked to one door. Locked! I walked around the building to the second door. Locked! I called the store and the Mgr answered. I stated who I was and asked if I can walk up to the drive thru instead of waiting on the consistently long line. It was the lunch rush. He kept saying, "staff cannot walk outside..." . After 3 attempts of I repeating, rephrasing, what I stated and he finally understood and said yes. I waited. Cars just kept coming. After awhile, I joined the line for a measly 3 tacos and a drink, that mind you, was already at the window. I finally got the order. While en route to my customer, I called the store and spoke to the manager. I told him, again, that I was the ubereats driver that he was going to let go to the window (though he wasn't there, nor communicate to this to staff). He proceeded to cut me off, by talking over me and raising his voice, telling me I should be grateful that he even let me do that. He said I was wasting my time calling him. I could not get a word in edgewise. I told him that I was calling to tell him to put up a sign that says drive thru only, so it doesn't waste time and makes it easier for everyone. Well, TRIGGERED! He was already yelling and got even louder and more crass. I told him I calling corporate. His response-Go Ahead!😬 I called to complain. They took my statement, were appalled, said that goes against Tacobell standards and said someone will follow up...

HOWEVER, the staff here (one lady especially) is terrible at taking orders and is rude when you correct her. Ordered vegetarian tacos, chalupas, crunch wrap supreme with refried beans instead of beef and almost every time they got it wrong and added beef or got the order wrong in some other way. I make it a point to check my order if correctly made, but can’t always tell for things like Crunchwrap and with the dim lighting In the drive through.
Even the manager needs to be better at customer service. I got the wrong order once and when I went back to get it corrected, he didn’t even seek to understand what my correct order was and simply was like I know what ur order is and went on to make it without apologizing for the wrong order or even trying to understand what was wrong. He luckily for the order correct but left me wondering if they are going to mess it up again. I had to check everything again to be sure.
The renovation is a welcome change. The staff and management need better order taking and customer service skills. Food is well made when they...
Read moreExtremely hit or miss. Last two visits have been more miss. I'm currently waiting in line at the drive through and it's inexplicably taking an average of 3 minutes per car. Last time my friend ordered a box of tacos and the box fell apart and dumped tacos on the ground before we left the restaurant, which the girl at the register clearly saw. When my friend approached her and explained what happened, she asked "what do you want me to do?" To her credit she did ask if he wanted a manager, and the manager replaced the box at no charge. A 5 star response would have been for her to get the manager before he even got up to her but what do you expect from teenagers?
On the plus side the staff is usually very nice, it's very clean, and mixed up orders are infrequent (never been to a fast food place that didn't occasionally mix orders up). Wish their service was...
