My husband recently had a terrible experience at Michael Kors while shopping for me. He wanted to surprise me with shoes for Valentine’s Day but wasn’t sure of my exact size. To keep it a surprise, he bought three pairs in different sizes and clearly told the salesperson that he would return the ones that didn’t fit. She assured him this was fine and never mentioned any restrictions on returns. There were also no signs in the store or any return policy on the receipt stating that returns weren’t allowed.
When he returned to the store because none of the shoes fit, the staff treated him horribly. The store associate raised her voice, was extremely rude, and refused to help. When he asked for a manager, she flat-out refused and wouldn’t give him any contact information. She also refused to give her name when he asked to report her behavior.
Right after leaving, he immediately called Michael Kors customer service to report what happened. They filed a claim and told him they would respond within 24-48 hours. However, even after multiple follow-ups, they never gave a real answer or solution. They took his calls but offered no help.
This entire experience was unacceptable and completely unprofessional. A well-known brand like Michael Kors should treat customers with respect and honor fair return policies, not allow their employees to disrespect customers and refuse basic customer service.
We will never shop here again, and I would not recommend this...
Read moreOn March 25 me and my wife we visited the Michael Kors store in your Lancaster, PA center because we had to buy a gift for our grandchild... We choose a watch that was indicated as in "clearance" and we ask for help to pull it from the display case.. Inside the case there was a standard white sign (used all over the store) that said "Take 40% off" ... AND a red sign that said " Clearance Take an Additional 50% off" ... ( Total 70% from retail price ). When we ask for to confirm the clearance price we were told from the clerk that the price was 50% off and that's it , no additional to nothing... To me and to my wife that seemed like a guess from the clerk so we did ask to talk to a manager... And THIS IS THE REASON OF MY COMPLAINT... the manager was unfriendly, rude and sarcastic about our request for clarifications.. The signs were deceiving, the manager told us that " he had 20 years of retail experience" therefore we were not making sense.. the sign said 50% off and did not matter if was red or if it said take an additional... he commented "nice try" .. said "This is the end of this conversation" and walked away from us. Me and my wife were left, extremely embarrassed, in the middle of the store, practically speechless... I have never been treated like this before and I hope that this letter will prevent this to happen again to other people. We did not buy anything and we definitely will never buy anything from this brand...

I share their culture so that corporate can determine who worked that day. If they care they will provide additional training for unacceptable behavior. He was 1 of 2 customers. Both individuals walked past him as if he was invisible. He was in the store for over 15 minutes. Kyle was on his way to his break and leaving the store. He greets my husband on the way out the door. When he returned he asked my husband if he could help. Kyle helped my husband find a suitable purse for mothers day. Kyle provided great experience. 5 stars for Kyle. If i was present no purchase would have been made and i would have requested district manager's #. Please share your experiences as this is ridiculous. This level of service is a disgrace and disappointment. Needless to say.... this may have been our last purchase. We will still reach out to...
