I was having an issue with my 2016 Chevy Malibu where it was going into limp mode because of an accelerator position sensor. Unfortunately when this happens it puts your car into a low power mode meaning that you really can’t drive it more than a couple of blocks. This has happened 3 times in as many months and to alleviate that problem I cleared the code with my OBD II scanner. After realizing that this was going to be a reoccurring problem I promptly made an appointment with Brittian Chevrolet in East Palestine I took it in there and because they were too lazy to do a little extra legwork for their customer they told me that I would have to drive the car around again until it kicked the check engine light meaning that I would be stranded wherever this happened. They then expected me to pay several hundred dollars to have the car towed from whatever location that would be back to their dealership to fix the problem. to me this seemed asinine. so I called GM directly and they told me to call another dealership so I called this one. Landon was amazing he told me to bring the car in let him know what the code was and that they would fix the problem. a recall it was a special service bulletin and will cover the cost of it they will only do so if the problem occurs instead of as a preventive measure. Which again to me is asinine. However that was not a problem the people at power were amazing they fixed the issue and while it only has been a couple of days the problem has not reoccurred. I will no longer take my vehicle but when I’m ready for a new car this is where I will go to get one. to go Brittain. Great job pushing a customer to another dealership. I’m certainly...
Read moreWell I did originally post a good review but since that date things have gone downhill. I picked my car up there were somethings wrong with it. I was given a loaner for 2 weeks while my car was being fixed. They did fix the issues and I was happy with that. But when I got it back there was some issues with my key. I was only given one key to begin with (which I should have asked for a 2nd before signing papers). The key I have is not an "adminkey" so I have restrictions in my own car from the previous owner. I was originally told the dealership was going to handle the cost to get an admin key but then was told differently and that I would have to call one of their other dealerships to get my key... well that dealership cant get me in for over a week after I had already waited a week so here I am... going to a different dealership to get an admin key which I should have had to begin with. If I wasnt leaving for vacation I would have waited but I need the admin key to travel on vacation. I shouldn't have to stress about this after spending $20,000+ on a vehicle but here I am stressed because of the service department or managers or whoever made this call that I'd have to pay out of pocket for an admin key that I should have been given in the 1st place. I was very happy with my sales guy, John. But now everything since leaving with the car has gone downhill and I'm 100% done being...
Read moreMyself and my wife stopped in on a Tuesday, late in the day, to look at, and test drive a 2024 GMC Denali 3500 Ultimate dually truck. I walked into the showroom and was greeted by Tiffany. Well let me tell you, she was very helpful. Within 5 minutes we were inspecting the vehicle, then test driving it. When we returned to the dealership after the test drive, Tiffany met us again, and asked what we thought, we told her we wanted to move forward with the purchase. Tiffany advised she was off on Wednesday and would work on it on Thursday, I said not a problem at all, I was in no big hurry. Wednesday on her day off I received a text message from her, and on her day off she worked up all the paperwork, and had the deal done. We went in on Thursday, with our trade in, and within 15 minutes, we were done with everything , and ready to leave with our new truck. Tiffany did show us all the features of the truck, set up OnStar and Wi-Fi before we left. I did go to the manager and told him what a great job she did, she spent her day off working on this sale, and I advised him that work ethics like she presented are hard to come by in this day and age. We were completely satisfied with our purchase, the dealership, Tiffany our sales person, and the very quick service. One of our easiest...
