Sunshine Party & Event Rental — Local services in East Liverpool

Second time renting a bounce house from here & this time was definitely more stressful. I booked a bounce house more than a month in advance and paid for it in full. I had the event at a church and it was on a Sunday so I couldn’t get into the venue until after church around 1pm. I scheduled it to be dropped off around 1pm & picked up at 5:45pm.. me and the lady even talked about the times because she said I wasn’t gonna get my full 6 hours and I told her that it’s at a church and I can’t get in until a certain time and the party is 2pm-5pm. I get a call 10 days before my event and they tell me the set up time is at 11:45am… I told her no I booked it for around 1pm cause I cannot get into the venue until then.. she said the set up guy would call me.. I never got a call so I called back the next day and I speak to the lady I booked with and she told me that they have another set up that day so the set up guy needs to call me so he can see what he can do.. I never got a call so I called the next day as soon as they open and a guy answers and he says he changed my time to 12-12:30pm.. I said ok that’s fine and I had to make sure I could get into the church immediately after church let’s out. I thought all was fine until I get a call the morning of my event at 10:45am saying they are 30 mins away.. I don’t know how many times I have to stress I cannot get into the venue until a certain time. All in all they got the job done and it was very nice.. everyone there seems nice it just seems like they don’t communicate with eachother about what’s going on.. I didn’t wanna be rude to anyone because like I said they are all nice but I was very stressed out dealing with the lack of communication...

Although my past experiences with Sunshine Party & Event Rental have been satisfactory, I was quite disappointed with how our most recent event was handled. First, upon asking if a rescheduled date was possible due to impending weather, the owner was very short and non-empathetic with my request. Then, the company arrived almost a half-hour late to setup indoors (instead of outdoors).

In regards to product quality, the "Giant Jenga" was very disappointing as it did NOT match the primary advertised picture on the website. It was very small and looked extremely worn down.

Last but not least, this company refused to give even partial credit for an inflatable that would not fit indoors (again, the event was supposed to be outdoors). Given the sizable end-of-year orders that Sunshine Party & Event Rental receives from our non-profit organization every year, along with the various smaller orders throughout the year, this lack of customer service and understanding was very poor business in my opinion. These rentals are paid for via donations received from hard working families, friends, local businesses and others within the community. This lack of flexibility and courtesy from Sunshine Party & Event Rental will be taken into consideration on how we spend these funds on our kids...

I recently attended a birthday party for my friend’s kid, and they had rented a bounce house and slide from Sunshine Party Event and Rental. I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The kids were thrilled and had the time of their lives. The equipment was spotless and in great condition. The staff was not only professional and punctual but also super friendly and accommodating. They made sure everything was set up safely and efficiently. I was really impressed with the quality of the service and how smoothly everything went. Sunshine Party Event and Rental truly made the party a memorable event. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add some fun to their celebrations. Five stars! I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention David Tice. He delivered and set everything up, and his service was exceptional. David was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. He made sure everything was perfect and safe for the kids to enjoy. David’s outstanding service really made a difference and added to the overall fantastic experience....
