A Heavenly Experience with Barber Angel

Today was such a blessing. As a mother of four boys—three of whom are on the autism spectrum—finding a barbershop that feels safe, welcoming, and patient is like striking gold. I had the pleasure of trying a new spot, and our barber's name was Angel—and let me tell you, his name couldn’t have been more fitting.

Angel was incredible with my boys—Larry, Kayson, Jayden, and Kori. He approached each of them with compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. He wasn’t just kid-friendly—he was attentive, thoughtful, and truly took his time to make sure my sons were comfortable, confident, and calm throughout the entire experience. For us autism moms, that's huge.

He also went above and beyond to educate me on their hair—offering tips, details, and knowledge that I deeply appreciated. The care he took with each cut showed not just skill, but heart. It’s not often you find someone who treats your kids like people, not just clients.

Walked in a new customer. Walked out a regular.

I had no idea what to expect when I walked in as I had no appointment. I was immediately greeted and informed that someone would be able to assist me. Decor and vibe was great. Staff was welcoming.

Angel did an incredible job on both my hair and beard. Lined and tightened everything up. While there was great banter between colleagues and customers, Angel took his time and really gave care to his craft. Angel has been amazing every time we've visited! He does haircuts that are "The Sensory Safe Solution". If you have someone with special needs, a fear of getting haircuts or have trouble sitting during haircuts, go to Angel! He is so patient and understanding! He tells you exactly what is coming next and explains why. It only took us 3 visits to get "used to" having a haircut again since not having a haircut from the COVID Pandemic and shut down!
