I don’t post many google reviews but I will for this place, I’ve been going here since I bought a house in Manchester about 4 years ago, it’s my first house so I will say I lack on the ability to know a lot about hardware and what’s good and what’s not. I’ve bought a lot here from an electric mower to simple nuts and bolts. One thing I will say is in the time I’ve been coming here I’ve never had a bad experience, the employees here go out of there way to help in anything but are not over barring, they are super knowledgeable and never make me feel ever that they are in a rush or make me feel weird that I don’t know what I’m talking about. Good place to stop by for hardware items that you need but don't feel like traveling all the way to the big box hardware superstores. You are very likely to find someone to help you if you need it. Sales staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. Aisles are a bit crowded for handicap accessibility, but staff will gladly get you what you need! The only downside may be the fact that they can't offer the same quantity and variety that the big box locations can, only because of space limitations. I've visited this store probably 20 or 30 times over the last 3 years. I've never experienced such a terrible customer experience from their staff. Unfriendly, don't want to be bothered. To be fair there have a been maybe 1 or 2 employees who have been pleasant inside the store but never at check out. It's all about their lives there chit chatting with other cashiers. Based on the reviews about the owner this attitude permeates from him. Maybe there should be a write in campaign to Ace Hardware corporate to revoke their franchise because it does not portray the Ace Hardware brand in a good light.
