I left for work an hour early one weekday morning so that I would have time to stop at Starbucks for a coffee and oatmeal as a treat for myself. Although I love this location and staff, I had to wait over a half hour for my order to come out due to the sheer amount of online orders they were serving that morning. I ended up being late to work and my oatmeal was cold by the time I got my coffee. I almost walked out because it was so frustrating to keep watching the online orders fill up with no one even there to get them while my latte took 30 minutes with me standing there waiting. It was happening to other people as well. Starbucks MUST prioritize their in person customers and stop allowing the online orders to take over the in person experience. It is not fair to the customers who are standing there in person waiting OR the baristas who are clearly overwhelmed with entirely too many orders. I am also not happy that some locations in my area are ONLY order online - there is no human interaction at all and you can’t come in and buy a drink in person even if you want to. This is just absurd. Starbucks has gone downhill and needs to make some serious changes in how...
Read moreHayden was really nice and the team working the shift at 3:15pm today (I didn’t catch all of their names but four people) were working really hard and fast during a rush. My app broke and that wasn’t anyone here’s fault. I had a feeling that was going to happen so I let the rest of the rush go in front of me. My card also broke. If this happens to happen to you, I recommend the tap at the beginning. It could have been the machine or my card but who knows. Again, no one’s fault. I keep seeing online advertisements for Halloween drinks and have trouble finding them in store. I couldn’t tell you if that’s a local issue or not but because it’s seasonal, I don’t think anyone’s going to care for it. Ah well. The take away is that the staff is nice, patient, and fast and the building space itself is...
Read moreThe service at this location is exceptional but this rating is because of Abby and her poor leadership skills. The young man that was helping me ring out some gift cards chose cash instead of credit and asked her for help. She turned around with lots of attitude and said “these are trash”, snatching the gift cards from his hand. After she told him to start over and I handed him 3 more gift cards she followed it by “gently” throwing the little green envelops on the counter and saying “you can still use these”. That young man is one of the best baristas I’ve dealt with and definitely didn’t deserve that. Someone needs to coach Abby on communication and how to treat her...
