**EDIT** So instead of them taking accountability for their mistake IE the manager NOT telling me in person back in January that my account wouldn’t be canceled till I signed a document, I got charged for March, April & May. Clearly she failed to do her job, which is to make sure that the member understands the difference in verbiage of canceled and paused. She had three different opportunities to make it right on her part by telling me I needed to come in and sign a letter to dissolve my contract. 1. January when I was there in person. 2. In February when I reiterated that I couldn’t afford the membership. But was told it’d be taken care of (all through text which couldn’t be done without me signing the physical document, her knowing this: and me not.) 3. March, April, & May where I was charged but was not in attendance since January. This place isn’t a very big establishment so for her to sit there and pretend she didn’t know I was back to being charged and not being told about it is the problem. She lied to me telling me it was taken care of knowing it wasn’t. She lied to me about being refunded. And now all of a sudden she told me my account has been canceled currently (all of this being through emails/texts but I still haven’t gone in person to sign this famous contract. So I must just have to cancel my card to prevent further fraudulent charges from your company since you change the rules to protect your company but not to withhold your integrity with your clients. IE I’m to believe now after all this happened, that NOW my account is canceled all through text/ email. But earlier through text and email and phone call it couldn’t be done. I don’t recommend this company and I regret telling the family and friends I got involved with this company. It’s a scam. ****** I really wanted to leave a positive review as this is a great program with great people. HOWEVER. Back in January we were informed that the EP location was raising their prices as this was a corporate decision, and because my husband and I were already members to two other gyms, I decided that I wanted to cancel my membership for Farrells as I wasn’t attending very many classes and couldn’t justify the cost. I went in to the office of EP location and talked to the manager Molly, told her we weren’t in a position to continue paying for my membership and that with the raise in price, that we couldn’t afford it. Mind you, that was back in January. She said she would take care of it. Then comes February where I have text messages between the EP location and myself about my membership needing to be put on hold. And the response was from Molly saying that she was sorry to hear that but that she would put it on pause and that she’d reach out next month to touch base. She never reached out. The account went back to “active” as she put it over the phone, and through text message said she would refund it because “ I very much remember canceling your account but obviously messed up somewhere or the system did.” Later in the message she states, “Your account is not canceled. We will refund you the payments.” This was on May 29th that she said I’d be refunded. Fast forward to today when my husband asks me when they plan on refunding our card for the payments so I again reach out and Molly calls me and basically tells me that because I said to “pause” it and not to “stop” it, that she talked to someone else and are no longer refunding me the money. If I hadn’t reached out today they would’ve never refunded me like they promised and never would’ve told me why. I do not recommend this company or at least the branch in East Peoria as they are slimy and try to rip people off due to wrong verbiage. She knew I had no plans of just pausing it for the time being as it was agreed that I said “until we have more [money] coming in.” I’m sad to have to leave this review as I did like attending this program and it did change both my husband and my lives for the better.

I joined for the 10 week challenge. Though I didn’t finish it, I was really grateful to have a coach who was assigned to me and another person - Tracy made me feel welcome and paired me with fit members so I didn’t have to try to awkwardly find a partner with a stranger so 6am. It helped me meet others, though that’s not in any way an issue there as EVERYONE is super kind and welcoming. Molly made me feel seen and appreciated. I’m vegan so the nutrition part was incredibly easy for me. I wish I could still be there just to be a nutrition coach or something because the people there are just amazing. I shared some recipes and meals i made in the Facebook group that you get added to when you join. I think it’s helpful and motivating to be added to the group and see what everyone else is making and how they’re staying motivated. I also had a bout where I got depressed and had a hard time showing up. Tracy and Molly both reached out to me and it made me feel that I’m important to the community, which is amazing. I didn’t finish just because I was working a lot of wild overtime and couldn’t make it to the classes. I do highly recommend it. I wish I could still be there but I can’t afford it at this time. I will definitely be back when I can swing it! If you’re on the fence you should make the jump and go!!! Bring a friend!...

FXB is an amazing place. First and foremost, the design of the program is wonderful. The program is for 3 days of kickboxing and 3 days of strength training. I didn’t realize how important the strength training portion would be until 6-8 months of dedication. I have definition and strength that I never knew I could have. I have stamina to run and do things I never believed I could. I’ve met people I never knew I needed. It’s a great community, it’s a positive community. I honestly feel that everyone wants you to have success- big or small. Try the 10 week challenge, you might amaze...
