Kroger — Local services in East Peoria

This Kroger store is awful.. I've stopped going thereon my weekly grocery shopping bc they are ALWAYS out of their weekly ad specials.. I'd go in there with my list and there would be absolutely no items available that were in the ad... So we stopped completely.. We now shop in Morton store.. Today I stopped in just for a couple items for dinner this evening and staples.. It was 6pm on a Friday night. Only 2 cashiers they were by the produce dept.. With lines that went back as far as the deli.. The u scans were busy too.. Really Kroger its a frickin Friday night at 6 pm and you have 2. TWO CASHIERS AT PRIME GROCERY SHOPPING HOURS.... I spent more time in line than I did shopping for my items.. This is my last trip to this store.. Fyi... As soon as Hy Vee or Schnucks has store over here.. I'm out of Kroger store altogether... Your store sucks !!!! Oh and the one rating... Is only bc it wouldn't let me post with...

Unsafe location. Stay away and especially keep your children away from this place. I was putting groceries in my car when I noticed a vehicle pull in front of my car. As soon as I looked up at him he started making obscene mouth gestures and motioning for me to get in his truck. Then he started touching himself while continuing the mouth gestures. I was mortified and took off. I was too freaked out to take a pic of his plate and I just wanted to get home. I called the store to let the manager know what had transpired and to see if they had cameras in the parking lot but they don't. He told me that it was a police issue not the store's. I just wanted to let the MANAGEMENT team know in case they cared at all about their employess and their customers safety. Sure doesn't seem that way. I will avoid this location from now on. I am turned off with Kroger completely at this point. PUT CAMERAS IN YOUR...

Seriously last time I will ever go there. F Kroger's! This place use to be decent. Always more expensive than Walmart but I would pay the extra for the faster check outs and them bagging. I can no longer say that. They have done the same as Walmart and tried to automate everything but worse. Their self check out is actually slower than Walmarts and more errors. Me and my gf had $200 of groceries and not a single check out line open, only automated. Was at the automated for 45min. Their excuse was we are short staffed. THAT IS NOT AN EXCUSE. Hire more people! Quit trying to be a globomart like Walmart. Good service was one thing guys use to do righ. Not anymore just another automated store with 2 people you have to pay a minimum wage to now....
