Kroger Deli — Restaurant in East Peoria

I'm a regular at my local Kroger store. Visit there on an average of 3 to 5 times a week. The produce, fresh meat, dairy, frozen, deli/bakery and general grocery are always top notch quality products and customer service throughout the years of my patronage. The 1st shift and 2nd shift full time cashiers are outstanding in their duties! Each and everyone of them! I've had the pleasure of being served multiple times by each of them over the years and I've always received top notch customer service, every time!! Here's why the 3 star rating..... 3rd shift cashiers, grocery, in general, employees. They're lazy, rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful to the store, themselves and the customer. A terrible representation for Kroger!!!!! I've actually not gone in when I got close enough to see who was working and turned around and went to my local Wal-Mart instead. Sorry, but if they're going to allow that kind of people to work there 3rd shift, I'll have to go somewhere else. During the day or evening, sure. Better be checking...

Bought an 8 piece fried chicken box, have had it before and it's usually fresh but this time it was kinda dry and old. Still ate it as it was going to be dinner after a very long day away work. The guy who helped us was nice and helpful but there were not many items to choose...

Good variety of prepared dishes and trays. Cakes and doughnuts always fresh. If you don't see something you like they will make to order whatever you desire given enough lead time. Small and large...
