Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in East Peoria

So me and my boyfriend went in there just wanting ice cream. We start looking at the flavors which half of which were gone but no biggie. My biggest concern is that we had the rudest girl serving us. It wasn’t a full minute before she asks “ do yall know what you want yet” in a very rude tone. I politely tell her that we need a few minutes she comes back and says the same thing in a very rude tone again. Once we tell her what we want she’s looking for a clean spoon bc she didn’t want to wash the spoon in front of her by the dishes. She didn’t wear gloves either which I don’t mind as long as u wash ur hands or something but when we walked in she’s cleaning stuff with a red sanitizer bucket I’m not sure of which that was clean or not. “Want anything else?!” is what was said again in a very rude tone. The entire time she was trying to talk to her friends on the headset while we were trying to order everytime we started to talk she would interrupt us to talk to her friends. I’m extremely dissapointed in the fact she couldn’t be courteous to her customers for the 5 mins it took to take the order and ring us up. Furthermore I’m also dissapointed in the fact everytime I ordered she asked anything else when my boyfriend was standing right next to me getting ready to speak up. Show some respect to the customers you have coming walking in through the door or at least try to fake a smile and be polite. I have never had such a bad experience. First i called in it rang 10 times she took the phone sat it down on the counter. It rang busy after that when i tried to call. I then showed up this woman with tatoos all over her hands, missing top teeth, and a tongue ring was eating on the job behind the counter. Talking with food in her mouth. Next i asked if they made clown cones she lied to me 3 times. "no not at this location" They say you have them online "well you have to call the cake lady, we make them here but not me". Ok Hey let me get a sunday. "You can only have strawberry or pinapple. I have taken down the hot toppings already" Its only 630pm. Your open till 10pm. You are telling me you cant get a hot fudge sunday here? "it was burnt and i didnt want to sell it to the customers" Ok well then heat up some more "its down for the night sorry. Do you want that in a cone." No i dont want anything from you i will go to another ice cream store. "Wow" Yes wow your open till 10 and not serving sundays at a ice cream store. I will never go to this store. I have never filed a complaint to a cooperate office but id did for this one for sure. I ordered a cake on line after I checked the availability of cakes and to see if there was a specific time table you had to give them and there was not . The site said the cake was readily available , I even paid for it on line . So I get to the store and that's when they inform me they had to have 24 hour notice . Mad yes I was .. So then I told the MOD refund my card and her reply was she couldn't do I had to wait almost 20 minutes for the manger to drive in to refund my money . And after she finally gets there I had to wait for her to finish talking to her Area Coach that was another 5 minutes. You would think with it being a holiday weekend they would have them available that's good business. Never again will I deal with this company. Everytime I've been there the staff is rude and untrained on good customer service. Sterling and East Peoria Baskin Robbins / Dunkin Doughnuts are worthless.
