It seems like on a Friday evening, most of the movies ( there's 5 I want to see, 2 for the 2nd time) that only had matinee showings or 6p at the latest and I don't understand how that keeps happening. I've got weekends free but it just doesn't seem like a good time to see a movie unless I can catch a matinee. It's been frustrating unless I want to see fantastic four every time which seems to always be available. I'm trying to see the new Jurassic Park, toxic avenger, naked gun, weapons, one more I can't think of off the top of my head at the moment, and was down to see the Jaws 50th anniversary if that happened to ever work out but I understand that one could have weird times or limited showings. I've just been so frustrated that out of like eight times of trying to go see the movies with friends It's only worked out twice. And at this point I just don't want to go to the movies. It's hard enough to get some people together and then realize over and over that the only showings for any of the ones I'm trying to see ends at 6ish or they only had matinee shows on a Friday. The drive-in movie theater literally has four of these movies playing for $7 for a double feature. I live less than a minute away from the AMC 18, and 30 minutes from the drive-in theater, But I have shifted my plans to see four out of five of the movies I've been trying to see at AMC 18, I can see at the drive-in theater, even though I don't want to drive 30 minutes away, I do love the drive-in theater because you can make the volume in your car as loud as you want to and can casually sneak in a whole pizza, But I hate driving back even more than driving 30 minutes there because I live right next to a freaking theater, AMC 18. I would love to be able to just to go right there and be seeing movies all the time more than other people because I live right next to it, right? That's the kind of upside down world I'm living in trying to see movies at your theater these days.
Also, please put a real dope arcade in there w driving games and...
Read moreThe bartender there last night at 10pm has a strange sense of what customer service means. Me and my friend both walk up to the bar at the same time she sees the both of us only greets him which well no biggie I shrug it off. He orders his drink and she then proceeds to ask him for his ID, so he pulls out his wallet leaving his ID in his wallet he presents it. She looks at it no fuss and prepares his drink. After she's done with him I'm waiting she turns her back on me like I'm not even there mind you she saw us walk up together. Still no biggie I think I'll wait till she's done cleaning her glasses I think to myself only for her to finish turn around look at me then turn her back on me AGAIN. So I call it to her get her attention still no greeting just a cold "what you want" I give her my order she asks to see my ID. I do the same thing as my friend present my ID inside my wallet, but this time she tells me I can't server you unless you take your ID out and hand it to me. Now remember my friend just presented his ID while still in his wallet not two minutes before and before y'all say it you can see the entirety of my ID inside my wallet without removing it even the real ID watermark. Now I'm 3 years older than my friend,a full foot taller than him, and 100lbs heavier than he is so why this drastic difference in service? I'm black he's white and was visibly already drunk by the way so I put my wallet back in my pocket and walk off. My friend then catches up to me and let's me know when I walked off that she was laughing at the whole situation. She may need a refresher course on how she should conduct herself when dealing with customers all around...
Read moreMy bf and I went and saw the new Final Destination movie in theater 14 for the 12:50 pm showing today. The staff was nice, kind of strange picking your seats when getting your tickets never done that before, popcorn was okay but the butter had a weird smell, the sound was kind of loud at times but the movie quality was good. Previews seemed to go on for awhile and the theater wasn't freezing like most theaters are so that was nice. My main complaint was that there was this lady behind us that was loud and singing during the previews and my bf kept asking her to be quiet and she wouldn't so I got fed up with it and went to speak with an employee and told him what was going on. He supposedly told someone what was going on and I thought someone would come into that theater and possibly tell her to be quiet or remove her but no one ever came. Thankfully during the movie she was quiet but other people were getting annoyed with her and I guess a few people got up and left. During the movie I guess she was kicking my bfs seat and he said she was putting her face in-between the back of our seats and just being weird and I guess she was doing stuff to other people watching the movie as well. There was something definitely wrong with this lady like she was on drugs or something. I know some places can't help who comes there but if someone comes to an employee with a complaint please do something about it instead of nothing. Hopefully this isn't what usually goes on there I don't know it was our first time coming to this...
