YES!! Good food and GREAT SERVICE! I'm in town for a business trip looking for great food and I certainly did! Nice people with a good atmosphere and food! I found this poster/paper (image attached) about how and why their prices had increased in prices. Just by visiting once, I was able to tell that the owner and employees truly care about their food and customers.
I got the chicken bowl LARGE! Yes it's Large. The container itself didn't look very large to my hungry eyes, but wow... That definitely weighed at least 3 pounds of rice and chicken. I usually scarf down my meal before finishing a 20-minute episode of One Piece, but it filled me up so much it took me at least THREE EPISODES... It was at the end of Thriller Bark though so I took my time (One Piece Watchers Understand.)
The Chicken was pretty sweet with the sauce and was really tender as well! The plain white rice was really good (I'm a sucker for white rice though.)
The vegetable egg rolls were INCREDIBLE! I took a bite of it FRESH and it's one of the best egg rolls I've had. I got YumYum Sauce and a thick dark brown/black sauce (not sure what) bit both were good with the egg rolls! I wanted to try it with the chicken rice bowl LARGE, but I business in the morning and would rather not be in a food coma.
Unless you can keep leftovers I would get a Medium Bowl. Also really good prices!
Large Chicken Bowl Large Water 2 Vegetable Egg Rolls Side of White Rice
All for around $20 including tax (I think)
Overall if I find myself in Chattanooga again for whatever reason this place will most definitely be on my mind if I'm hungry.
(Sorry for no food pictures! I forgot to take a picture, and I doubt anyone is going bananas over a picture of my leftover side of white rice I could hardly eat in my Hotel Fridge. It'd be funny to attach it, but I'm already in bed writing this review realizing I have been doing this for quite some time despite losing sleep BUT WORTH IT MAKING THIS REVIEW!)
Overall: Good pricing for the portions, caring people who put good effort into food quality and service. As someone who has worked in food service I was very pleased with my experience. If you're looking for a good place to sit down and eat with family/friends/others, yourself, or binge a show THEN YOU GOT MY...

So I am not really sure how this place has the rating it does….when I’m thinking of asian teriyaki bowls, I’m thinking fried rice, SEASONED and appropriately SAUCED (during cooking) veggies and meat.. my dish (the veggie teriyaki bowl add shrimp), mind you when you go out to get teriyaki bowls, the shrimp is never fried, this shrimp was and not noted on the menu that it would be fried so that just added another layer of disappointment when I received my bowl. The veggies had not a drop of the basic spices (salt and pepper), there was not even any garlic. On top of the extremely underseasoned vegetables, the teriyaki sauce was swirled ON TOP at the end of plating. How disappointing to have plain steamed rice, unseasoned vegetables, and swirled on after teriyaki sauce (which was extremely too sweet). Needless to say, if you like unseasoned, bland, totally off the mark teriyaki bowls, then this is the place for you :) I am asian and this missed the mark for sure, I will not be returning nor...
Read moreBEST and ONLY teriyaki in Chattanooga! As a Seattle native, I like to think I know teriyaki. They are everywhere in Seattle. None here EXCEPT this amazing comfort food restaurant with a wonderful and direct staff waiting for you to try it and find out what everyone else already knows. All I heard in Chattanooga was "hibachi hibachi, egg show..." this is NOT hibachi it's teriyaki. Meat (choice of chicken beef, shrimp, etc) is all chargrilled over a bed of rice with the wonderful sweet and salty sauce. Its topped with avacado on request, green onions and sesame seeds (last 2 are optional). This is their main fare and if you ever go to a teriyaki spot this is how you tell if the rest of the food is worthwhile. Hot charred and juicy meat. I added a picture and a year later the portions are immense, flavorful and still perfectly cooked. I visit at least twice a month due to my...
