At Home — Local services in East Ridge

I recently made an online purchase at this store. I arrived and “checked-in” to do a curbside pickup. Once checked in, I received an alert that my order had been canceled. I proceeded to the cash register and the cashier called the store room to see if my order was still available. The attendant found that the order was still in the back room and ready for pickup. I was asked to wait curbside or at the door for loading. I waited inside and was approached by the same employee that stated that my order was still in the back room. Her demeanor was very rude and she informed me that my order was canceled and I should have received an email. There was absolutely no communication about the order status! She let me know that I could repurchase the items if I still wanted them. I told her that I would do that, but asked if the transaction would be at the same sale amount that was purchased online. She replied, “absolutely NOT!” I chose to leave the items. Why on earth would I repurchase the the order at a higher rate because of poor communication. I will not be...

Wife bought an item online from this location. We live in Knoxville so I requested from the "manager" to ship the small item. (called store 3/29/21 8PM). UPS delivers to their store weekly (if not daily) & I would provide the shipping label for them. All she had to do was literally attach the label and hand to driver. Not only was she unwillingy to assist, she was very rude and argumentative as to why it was too much trouble for her to deal with. She spent more time explaining her case than it would have taken to just do it. This is why online sales are soaring and brick and mortar is dying Diana. It's because of people like you who are not invested in their jobs. She's clearly miserable working there and its just a paycheck. Time to find another job Diana. We have an "At Home" Store in Knoxville but with so many other options and the experience I had with this one we will shop...

At Home is an awesome store for anything you need to decorate inside or out. Amazing selection and prices are good. It is a warehouse environment, however, and they dont have an on line store. If they dont have what you need you have to drive to one of their other locations. Since it's a warehouse it can be hard to locate someone if you need help because they are all putting out new stock. A heads up...if you see something you want dont wait to get it another day or you probably wont find it and they cant order any more.
