American Dream Parking Deck — Local services in East Rutherford

I had an awful experience at the East Parking Lot at American Dream on May 28th. I was supposed to be charged $5 for parking, but instead I was overcharged $43.93. When I called to resolve the issue, I spoke with a manager named Sandra who was extremely unprofessional.

She was unable to provide an estimate for a refund. When I pressed for more clarity, she abruptly hung up on me before I could even finish speaking. That kind of behavior is unacceptable — especially when a guest is calmly trying to address an issue caused by the facility itself.

American Dream needs to seriously reevaluate how their staff handles customer service and fix their parking system to avoid this happening to others. Very...

The idea of the mall is great! But when it comes to parking? It’s TERRIBLE especially during the weekend. Long lines getting in and out. Also, no one is going to tell you how much spots are left in any of the parking deck (lots). So once you enter, good luck to you for finding a spot, cars are just circling around until they have luck and get a spot. Also, the design of the deck is miserable, there are so many dead ends that require you to backup if you can’t find a spot. Parking garage has ample parking. Parking lot is well lit. Parking staff is courteous and helpful. I definitely would park here again. I have not tried the valet but will review the next time I used valet parking. You can pay for your parking using the kiosks located in the mall by the doors that lead to the parking building.
