I didn't like my first time at Five Guys. I ordered food through the web. The app tells you to push the button when you leave and then push again when you arrive. So I got 4 hot dogs, 2 fries, and 2 milk shakes. I arrived and was greeted. So the hot dogs were already in a bag I just needed the fries and milk shakes. One guy started the fries, it took a while, but I appreciate the freshness, even though my hot dogs are cold by now. Second guy didn't know how to get started on my milkshakes. Kept walking around the milkshake machine while my fries are getting cold in the bag, hot dogs were cold a long time ago. Finally literally 20 mins later he calls another guy to help him with the machine. I get my shakes and they put them on the counter. Milky substance all over the counter and the cups. Am I supposed to put this in my cupholders? I tried to wipe the cups with napkins but they remained sticky and my cupholders couldn't avoid the mess. Note that employee just watched me trying to clean the mess he left. I got home, tried the hot dog and it was disguisting. Cheap grocery store hot dog for $6 each. Will never come back, paid $40 for 4 hotdogs, 2 small fries and 2 shakes. Way overpriced and impossible to eat. If I cooked myself ramen noodles I would be more pleased...
Read moreNot particularly impressed. Ordered two burgers with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and mushroom, got home to find two burgers with just mushroom, which... didn't make each seem like money's worth for a $6 burger. Wasn't worth going back, called just to let them know so they could tell their preparer dudes to wake up. They tried to make good offering same order free next time I come by, I told them I threw out my receipt on the way out the store never figuring I'd need it for something so simple. I explained that I really wasn't calling looking to get anything but simply to suggest they have a word with their guys who are preparing the food because it seems like they get lists of what's in the order which seems pretty straight forward and mistakes do happen but they need to get their act together. In any case, like I said, they were looking to make good for their mistake, but aside from finding the mistake itself unimpressive, soggy fries and burgers that somehow manage to simultaneously taste greasy and dry don't impress me. I can't recommend the place,...
Read moreFacility was clean. Customer service was ok. The burgers weren't greasy. They also didn't have a freezer burn aftertast being that they're fresh, which is a huge plus! I ordered a 'little bacon cheeseburger'. The bacon was crispy, the burger was juicy, the add ons were fresh. On the down side I do wish the patties were seasoned (a little adobo/sazon goes a long way); to me they came up a little short on flavor. I didn't ask but I think it's safe to guess they only serve American cheese. It'd be great to have a select variety in cheese, cheese as well adds to flavor. The fries didn't taste terrible. I enjoyed the skin on, but...
