As bad as my appointment was, I would not have left a review but I now realize all of the skin around my cuticles is shredded because they were so distracted they were filing my fingers instead of my nails. I made an appointment for gel pedicure and acrylic fill with gel color. My basic gel pedicure took two hours (nothing special, that was just the pace) which would have been fine if I was able to relax but halfway through someone came to file off my gel color, which involved propping my hands on a roll of paper towels and having me twist to reach. After 2 hours, I guess we were now behind because the salon decided to do have two people work on my acrylic fill, sitting on either side of me at different heights and having me twist, again, to accommodate. At one point my arm was so twisted I was in tears, but when I expressed that I wanted to forget the rest of the service because I was in pain they did nothing to adjust the position I was asked to sit in. As soon as I was allowed out of the seat I paid and left with unfinished acrylic and went elsewhere. My skin is still raw over 24...

I made an appointment for two regular manicures more than 2 weeks in advance because I was very excited to try this place. When we showed up for our time, we waited 30 minutes and were still not taken for our appointment time. They didn’t even ask what time our appointment was when we first walked in or our name for it. It looks like they were completely overbooked even though I called multiple weeks in advance. When we went to leave because we weren’t able to wait that long, they barely even acknowledged us. Everyone was still mid service so it likely could have been an even longer wait. This is my go-to salon. I used to come here for convenience (I lived close by), but moving further up north and having mediocre experiences at other salons, I find myself making appointments at this place that's 20 minutes away from me. I usually just get pedicures but every employee who has taken care of me did so with grace, comfort, perfectionism, and put a lot of effort into getting rid of my calluses. Not only that, the owner made upgrades to her salon since the pandemic. The business also practices proper social distancing and follows appropriate hygiene. I absolutely appreciate the low prices ($25 for pedicure) as well. Thank you so much for providing me with wonderful experiences all the time. I'll be a long time...
