This has nothing to do with personalities. Yvonne is a nice person with a pleasant personality, Carl is a bit stoic but a relatively nice guy. This has to do with the work they produce. It's awful. They have taken no responsibility for the cracking of the upholstery on the sofa they tried to repair. The cracking began to happen about 3 months after the sofa was delivered. I called them they came over and looked at the sofa, they blamed the supplier and said they would need to contact them before doing anything. That was over 5 months ago. they haven't returned my 11 or so phone calls. Fortunately the $1300 won't ruin my life but it just shows how much they care about customer service and doing the right thing. Yvonne and Carl put a big smile on our face this past Saturday when they delivered our large sectional cushion seats and pillows to our Manhattan apartment. Initially, we thought our entire Roche Bobois twenty-year-old leather sofa had to be reupholstered. Yvonne recommended that only the seats and cushions needed work and she recommended fabric instead of leather. It was fun and easy to choose the right fabric from the hundreds of samples she brought. The result of combining leather with fabric is gorgeous and more than exceeded our expectations. We think we have a completely brand-new sectional that is modern and looks very expensive. Wonderful work and lovely folks to work with. Had a garage sale find armchair reupholstered and their attention to detail is astounding. It was from the 1920s (and the damage to show for it) and they took it down to the frame, repaired the wood, put in new foam and springs, upholstered and trim detail is amazing. They also delivered the “new” chair right to the house and got it set up for me too!

Be prepared for an abundance of options when you go to the shop - there are racks and racks of fabric samples to choose from but you’ll be helped along the way and the guys there have a great eye for style and how to bring out the best in the furniture.
