Cake and Cone — Restaurant in East Rutherford

I was so excited to try this place since they serve deep fried Nutter Butter, deep fried Oreo, and funnel cake sundaes! I ordered the deep fried Nutter Butter sundae here with cake batter and peanut butter ice cream. The deep fried Nutter Butter cookies that topped the sundae were delicious! Unfortunately, the ice cream wasn't that great. I would of rather bought Ben and Jerry's from the super market! Both ice creams had a nice texture, but the flavors were disappointing! The cake batter didn't have any cake pieces or frosting swirled throughout, and the peanut butter ice cream vanilla base was bland. There also wasn't barely any peanut butter in the peanut butter flavor. Both ice creams had a good texture, but zero flavor. Although I loved their sundae menu, I wouldn't come back here for...

They do very generous portions, from their regulars hard ice cream to their soft serve, they do not skimp out.

I only had their Nutella and butter pecan flavor and they just lacked flavor. The Nutella was vaguely Nutella, did not have a flavor punch at all, just incredibly lackluster. Similarly the butter pecan tasted cheap and bland and good butter pecan is never cheap or bland.

The soft serve was good but their cones tasted vaguely of styrofoam. It’s similar to the cones you buy at any supermarket that taste like they’ve been made eons ago.

Great ice cream ! i’ve been here a couple of times I’ve tried the soft ice cream and the hard ice cream last night. I had the chocolate and butter pecan the butter pecan did not have many nuts in it had a sundae with walnuts chocolate syrup and whip cream don’t forget the cherry. there was only one girl working last night I got there late noone there . The other time I went, there was a long line and only one person serving. It really should’ve had two windows open. Price is reasonable for the ice cream. They don’t overcharge here .
