Lack of security and safety. I have been going here for almost a year now and have noticed there is nonexistent security measures. Anyone can come in the front door as the entrance doesn't require membership entry. There is the key card scanner and video monitors up front but you can walk through without scanning your key card and no one says anything. Items have been stolen from workout areas and lockers. There have been questionable individuals wondering in the locker rooms from the surrounding area that clearly did not look like they would be working out. Read moreThe swimming pool is a decent size. One thing I don't like is how events pop up at random the website says open swim 1pm to 5pm and at 230pm the life guards say that theres daycamp or something else happening at 3pm so you have to leave the pool area or put up with a bunch of brats that bump into you and they don't use the kiddie pool. I cant say much n the other activities because I only go for swimming but they have treadmills and basketball and pingpong to name a few other options. The eau Claire staff are ok but they don't always know about the random...

Sauna and steam room access has been updated and are available again. Have been for awhile now. Yoga and cardio classes, as well as gym equipment and a swimming pool.
I mainly use the sauna, cardio and yoga classes, but looking to start lifting weights again in March.
I definitely miss the era of the Y before COVID, but it's not a bad place. I hear some complain that the building is out of date, but it doesn't bother me, especially when I'm paying $15 a month for...
