I'm sure their jewelry is top notch, but I don't know because I never got the chance to purchase from them. Their customer service is definitely not top notch. I was in there a little while ago planning to purchase a necklace. I stood at the counter and waited. They were busy. I understood that and was being patient. There were 2 employees working with a couple. It looked like one of them was a trainee. I wasn't upset at this time. As I said, they were busy. I just stood and waited and waited and waited. I realized it would take more time, so I left and came back. The same couple was there with the employees. There were a few more customers. I heard an employee say "We'll be right with you." Then she said "We'll be right with you too over there." I assumed she meant me. I waited by the counter again, and waited and waited and waited. I decided to come back another. I did some other things and decided to come back one last time. I really wanted that necklace, and I don't get to treat myself with nice jewelry that often. The same couple were there. I figured they must be finishing up. I went by the counter and waited. As I stood there one employee looked like he was walking towards me. I thought I was finally going to get some help. He just turned and went in the back room ignoring me. When he came out, I thought he would help me then. Nope. He snubbed me again. I was starting to get angry. He walked past me 1-2 more times and didn't stop to help or even acknowledge I was there. I might as well have been invisible. When the other 2 employees finished with they couple, they started helping another couple that came in after I did. I left again and didn't come back. I can tolerate a lot of things, but not being ignored like...

My boyfriend and I are loyal customers to Helzberg diamonds. We have bought 95% of our jewelry there and are very friendly with the staff. My boyfriend bought me a bracelet for Christmas. Purchase on 12/17, gifted on 12/25 so I did not physically receive or start wearing the bracelet until 12/25. No out of the normal day to day wear. On 1/19 my bracelet clasp broke due to a broken bracket. I did nothing but wear the bracelet on my wrist day to day and take it off for showering. I took the bracelet in on Friday 1/21 because that is the soonest I could bring it in (I live in Cornell so not like I'm right in town). I told the young lady at the counter about it breaking and the dates. I know it was over the 30 day out of store warranty but I did not receive the bracelet until 12/25. I was told they could not override the system, and they have to use up my care plan and have to order a whole new bracelet. But it wasn't out of the 30 days because I didn't even receive the bracelet until the 12/25! They called my boyfriend to let him know that the bracelet was ready to be picked up. He told them the same dates and issues I did, was very upset with them and all he was told was "I'm sorry to hear that..", which to me, as long time loyal customers of Helzberg Diamonds, I wish they would of done more to keep my business. With this incident we will not be returning our business to them.
On the positive note they have never pressured us to purchase anything and have been friendly everytime we go in but they should of honored the 30...
Read moreMy wife went to pick up her wedding set after some prong repair work and fiasco ensued. She told the store employees that something was off and handed it back stating it wasnt her ring. She was reassured that it was hers and that "unsoldering and cleaning it up would make it look different and she had done just that." Later that night, 30 mins prior to close we were contacted asking us to return to the store as we had another customers ring. Not exactly the right moment to say I told you so but someone made a big mistake. We were informed that two customers with similar names and ring styles were returned at the same time. My wife's rings were soldered together when they left our possession and upon pick up one band was completely separated and not returned. We were refunded our repair work costs but expected some sort of customer recovery as this is the 3rd issue we've had with the company within the last 3 years including a botched soldering job that was redone previously. As a customer of over 14 years, I can honestly say I am truly upset and dissatisfied. As the associate was apologizing profusely and trying to appease an uncomfortable situation, the manager continued to clean a ring and verbalized that she's trying to decide whether to clean it or not as a stone is loose. She tells us, this is her own band. Are you kidding me?!? She couldnt be bothered to converse with a customer with whom a very bad and unacceptable transaction had occurred. Shameful managerial skills and loss of customer has occurred. Social media is a strong platform, I hope this post can help others avoid bad...
