Oakwood Mall — Local services in Eau Claire

We went to the food court after going to Menards so each of us could eat what we wanted and to stop by the Ulta Beauty store. I had sushi and it was really good. Number 10 on the menu. My service was great. The men were really fun to chat with. I will definitely go there again. Oh and everything was sooo clean. Another plus in my opinion. Highly recommend.

It was my first time to Ulta Beauty store. Very nice store. I like it when people have a smile on their face and want to help you. I like the stores receipt policy. Lots of variety from higher to average price goods. Fragrances for women cologne for men. A really fun place to shop but be careful if you bring your teenage daughters. Unless they want use their own money. Lol I do miss my beauty consultant Pam at the Lancome counter at Younkers in Eau Claire, WI. I was maybe 18 when I started with her. 33 years I would call on her for all my beauty needs. Pam was the best. Younkers was many people's go to store. People often state how they wish it was still there. It was a nice place to shop for many reasons. My mom love love loved it. She didn't shop the mall but she always went to Younkers and often. Not everyone wants to go trucking through a huge mall. Younkers, Macy's, JC Penny's is plenty for older people, challenged individuals with disabilities where the long distances is simply to much for one reason or another. As awesome a store Scheels is they should really consider placing a few benches for older folks or disabled people. That store is awesome and huge but by the time some people get so far they have to leave. Just going by experience. Properly set benches...

I can only speak to the movie theatre! We visited this (2nd) time based on our previous (1st) visit.

I've been more familiar with The Rivoli in LaX where last I knew, matinees were $3; $2 for students! I'm no longer in college so Oakwood's movie price is an acceptable, easy reach increase.

Theatre popcorn is ALWAYS best in my opinion! Here, you put your own butter on. If you tell them right away you want butter throughout the bag, they'll hand you 1/2 a bag full, you add butter, shake, add more if you like, take it back to the counter, & they'll finish filling it with popcorn........that you can then add butter to for a most delightful taste - just the way you like it!

I'm disappointed only in the price; Oh! My!gosh! I don't recall the price for a refill, but I didn't get one! I have to assume cost has gone up everywhere... on about everything. :(

Going OUT to the movies is a special treat for us. And this theatre is great if you have the extra bucks or if you don't...
