The new Prophetic Practicum room is absolutely magical! My whole family was able to help and we did escape with about two minutes left! My kids range in age from 6-17. What a fun family hour to spend together. This was my 4th room with tactical escape with our whole family over the last two years (2 in Eau Claire and 2 in Rice Lake). My husband and the older teens have done more and keep coming back. They are begging to road trip to Maplewood MN to try a room there. The staff is always super friendly. The creativity of the owner and her team is just amazing. If you like puzzles or want to challenge your family dynamics during a cooperative play style game, I’d recommend booking an adventure with Tactical Escape!

I took my children and husband 7 of us all together. We decided last minute to stop in and do an escape room. We knew there might be a few minutes wait. But from what we knew stopping in was perfectly fine. The lady asked if we had reservations, once she realized we didn't she said "oh ok it will be a few minutes." Then we waited, and waited longer and about 15 mins later a lady came in from the back area who asked if we had reservations again we let her know we didn't. She then started complaining about wanting to get a new room done but she just doesn't have time. And continued to make us feel like we were more of a inconvenience then a customer. And after she complained a few more times, 2 of my 5 children decided we should go elsewhere. We did leave without going on with this experience. It was kind of interesting, but definitely the jankiest place I've even been to. We did the Ascension room. Interesting puzzles but one of the locks was never put back on, the wooden puzzle is missing a piece and then doesnt even work so they said over speakers, "you will have to push on that and move it around to engage the magnets", so more time wasted, one of the puzzle doors never opened and the gamemaster came in and also couldn't open it. Then we ran out of time with one last task. The game"master" couldn't figure it out either and said someone could call or email us the answer! What a joke. That was $100 for all of this stuff to not work or even be put back. At a mere minimum all locks should be replaced and puzzles should work. I don't recommend the Oakwood Mall Tactical...
