I have had multiple horrible encounters with Logyn at your Edgartown location. Today was the last straw. I had received a discount card for a prescription that was not covered by my insurance. I went to use the discount card yesterday and Logyn instantly seemed annoyed. He questioned whether I had activated it. I said I had not but I didnât think I needed to because it doesnât say anything about needing to activate it. He became even more annoyed and attempted to use the digital card. He ran off into the back with my phone without asking if he could. After a few minutes, he rudely told me the card needed to be activated, and I said I would do that and be back the next day. After calling the manufacturer of the medication, the said the card was already activated and indicated that the pharmacy needed to change the fill date of my prescription to a date after when I activated the card. I went back to the pharmacy this afternoon, and before even walking up to the counter, Logyn looked at me rolled his or her eyes and said âI just know this is going to be a problemâ. I tried to explain what I was told by the manufacturer of the medication and he became extremely agitated, cutting me off and yanking my phone out of my hand. Moments later he comes back and says âthe card isnât activated, you need to get it activatedâ I tried once again to explain to him what I was told by the company but he continued to cut me off practically screaming at me stating he would print off where it says I needed the card activated. He has on every experience be rude to me and the customers around me. Today, he put my health at risk because he wouldnât take the time to allow me to explain myself along with that the rudeness and eye-rolling. This is not the first negative interaction with him. Last week, he treated my husband in the same manner. My husband was at the Edgartown location three times in one day. Each time, Logyn told him it would be â30 more minutesâ until the prescription was ready. My husband revisited the pharmacy well after 30 minutes each time only to be treated poorly by Logynâs attitude. He witnessed him treating other customers poorly as well. I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. I would rather take the journey to the CVS in Falmouth once a month than continuously be mistreated by Logyn at Stop and Shop pharmacy...
Read moreHorrible. Total attitude. Didnât call as promised to say 2 prescriptions were ready. When I called, they said both were ready, but when I went to get them,, they said they hadnât filled one because insurance didnât cover it. Not true. They had old insurance information. All of this could have been avoided with one call and minimum attention to detail.
Today they said it would take 3-4 days to fill to a prescription if they had to call my local pharmacy to request a transfer of refills. So I had to ask my doctor to send new ones. Totally ridiculous. I said would do it if they called me when they were ready, and I went over everything that had happened. They just kind of shrugged and said everyone needed to work together, and they were short staffed. I said they were the ones behind the counter.
They canât be too understaffed to pick up the phone. This is a local monopoly that knows it can treat customers like cattle, renege on promises, and put it all back on the customer. They would find a way to call my doctors and me if they thought their business depended on it.
Do not use them if you can avoid it. Itâs worth it to drive a little further to the next town, if necessary, and try...
Read moreVery bad service, I went there to pick up my medication after 4 days that the doctor sent to them the prescription, they were closed for lunch there was no sign at all saying that, I waited 30 minutes to hear that itâs was not ready yet. Plus I was working like everyone does I have no time to waste, I back to work without it and I still have to figure out when I can go back. The person at the counter didn't even care when I tried to explain that it was difficult to get back there. Very...
