Stop & Shop — Local services in Edgartown

I have had the pleasure of visiting all the grocery stores on MV Island this week. Believe me when I say, the Edgartown Stop & Shop is head and shoulders the "best". I like the store Manager at the Vineyard Haven store, but, that is not enough compensation to come close to all of the good things that the Edgartown location has to offer, including a great produce department, deli, seafood department, well organized aisles. Usually well stocked given the constraint of ferry schedules, high volume of summer shoppers, and shortage of workers, etc. Also, all the workers are helpful..... And busy!! Occasionally, shopping there can be frustrating, but, when you look at the Island competition, (and prices) you won't walk, you will run back to Edgartown's Stop & Shop for groceries..... Everytime! So a 5 rating easily attained...

This is my store. I love the regular longtime staff at Stop and shop, especially the produce guys. They take their time to help you. I see the diligence in their work, as I do with many of the long time employees who take their job seriously and they do it with integrity. I am so grateful for my Edgartown newly expanded...

The people make the place and over the last year or so I'd say the people here have been helpful and kind overall. Barring the odd exception of the jerk having a bad day.
