This location Just opened on Friday and we went there on Saturday .
We ordered 2 cones Midnight in Dubai gold with vanilla ice cream (instead of chocolate as vanilla was egg free) , Nutella & Pistachio sauce and topped with Kataifi and Pistachios
Chocolate vanilla swirl and strawberry jam and cookie butter sauce and cheesecake bites
Ice cream taste and concept The concept is fairly new and is adopted from Prague in Czech Republic. The ice cream and associated sauces and toppings were excellent in taste and liked it because it was not very sweet (like most ice creams in US). It actually reminded me of European ice creams. The cones were amazing as they the midnight in Dubai was baked with Kataifi and pistachios inside the cone.
The chocolate vanilla swirl - I did not try it as Chocolate ice cream had eggs but my family members liked it very much and same feedback as ice cream and sauces and toppings were very tasty
The concept of having different special flavors every week is a great idea and hoping all the other flavors are as good as they were this week
Service - very polite and excellent. The owner was very customer friendly and took the time to explain to us how the concept materialized by the franchiser owner. Even the rest of the team making the ice cream were friendly. It was all new so as time goes they will have the routine of ordering and making down to a science
Ambiance - nice but could use couple of more tables especially in the colder months
Price - quite pricey as it was $10 a piece so not something one can afford on a regular basis. However considering normal good quality ice creams go for about $6-$9 in NJ and about $10 in NYC this could be something you have for special occasions. But definitely worth going there and who knows you may get addicted to the taste and be willing to pay $0. I again have to give them kudos for making an ice cream and toppings that is high quality (less sweet and more flavorful) . I just hope in future they keep to this formula .
I did not give it 5 stars just because I thought it was a little expensive to pay...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited this spot in Edison, NJ and tried the 2 Cone Package, which came with two cones, two spreads, and a pint of ice cream. The cones reminded me of a warm cinnamon pretzel from Auntie Anne’s, baked fresh right in front of us. They’re then filled with the spread of your choice— I went with Nutella while my daughter chose strawberry. For ice cream, we had vanilla and chocolate topped with Oreos.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Nafisa. Even though it was busy, she still took the time to acknowledge us, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a fun and delicious treat. Definitely worth a visit—just be ready for something sweet...
Read moreThe ice cream was tasty and the cone was a nice touch period the toppings and the customization were really cool. Where this place fell short was operationally. When we went on a sunday afternoon, it was packed and it took about 25 minutes to get our order. The restaurant was full of people waiting. Inside it was about 80 to 85 degrees.I don't know why it was so hot in there. But the ice cream started to melt instantly. They got so backed up with orders. They started making orders for people that weren't there anymore. And had to start calling out names before they made orders to make sure people were...
