I booked here because they had good prices and over 4 stars here on Google so I thought it must be a decent place, genuinely don't know who is giving them these good reviews though because I wouldn't stay here again. When I checked in I was given a twin room instead of the queen I paid for so I had to get that fixed which was frustrating but welcomed since the twin room was FILTHY. Hair on the tub, grime all over the walls, cobwebs in every corner, humid musty bedding, flies. I wanted to run screaming from this room. Thankfully the room they moved me to was much cleaner but the carpet was so disgusting I wouldn't walk on it without shoes which made it very hard to be comfortable at all during my stay. The location is awful. No where near the Edison train station and it's not a walkable area so you cannot walk there without crossing a highway. The motel had a lot of riff-raff, kids playing in the parking lot at midnight. Guests up and loud all hours of the night. The only pro was that the mattress was...
Read moreVery unsatisfied. Apparently this is a welfare hotel with families with children. Was given a room on the bottom floor but was not told a family with 4 noisy children were staying above me. For the 3 hour stay for which was all I could handle children. Screaming loud music blasting from the room. I asked to switch my room to one father away and was told no matter where I move to the children will be loud. The room smelled bad the rug wasn't swept had food particles on it. The pillowcases were stained . Not staying there again. Worst $95.00 . Didn't get my...

I’ve decided to make an exception for Edison motor lodge, primarily for the health and safety of others. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. I don’t want to get too graphic but everything from the smell to the stains on the wall/beds were unbearable. We had multiple rooms, and although I can’t say that I saw any critters, someone in another room we had did. I cannot recommend against staying...
