EDIT: no one has contacted me despite 2 managers saying someone would within 24hrs and the comment left by Nordstrom is for me to call and ask for a manager. Yeh no! The worst customer service you can imagine!!
Visiting from the UK, tried on leggings and ended up with the pin of the security tag in my foot. It was painful!! There was no sales assistant in the changing room when I called for help. When someone finally came to help another customer, she rushed out to get someone else, who then called the security team who came with a first aid kit. None of this was at speed!! I was in the waiting room close to 15mins before I finally got an alcohol wipe, but there was no antiseptic cream in the first aid kit!! When I finally got out the room and went to the check out I said I was surprised at how long it took and that no manager came to see me. I was told 1 of the security ladies was a manager, not that she introduced herself as such. My phone number was taken and apparently someone will call me to follow up and an incident will be filed but I have no names or contact information let alone an incident number. The girl at the checkout got hold of a manager who came and apologised, but it wasn't genuine and she wasn't interested at all. I am appalled at the staffs behaviour in this store. Read moreokay I don’t wish to give this less than one star because of the other department. However, the manager department from jewelry name Javier Manrique is super duper extremely unprofessional. Along with the assistant name Asra Mazhar (she was helpless and acted dumb. When I asked for her department manager’s name she refused badly to give me his name.) when the department manager came and I spoke with him about wanting to return an item with a price of purchase, he said it can’t done. I even asked to just give me a store credit and he only want to give me $9, when I bought the alex and ani bracelet for $28. (Btw I barely wear the bracelet and it’s tarnished) long story short, he blamed me for not taking care of it properly after I told him that I barely wear it and I kept it nicely inside the box. And when I asked him if she take care of his jewelry by wiping it and all, he raised his voice while putting his arm out and said, “you see I don’t wear Alex and Ani bracelet!!” I even told him this is not how Nordstrom customer service supposed to be and told him I will spoke to the headquarters about it and he replied, “okay go ahead, feel free to do so!” Basically all he want to do just get rid of me and not want to do deal with my issue. Extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this store. This was my second time at this location, and unfortunately, it confirmed why I usually avoid in-person visits. I asked a staff member for help locating the beauty product section, but was met with racist behavior and completely ignored. This level of discrimination and poor customer service is shocking, especially from such a well-known brand. It's unacceptable that customers face racism while simply trying to shop. The store urgently needs to address this issue by properly training their staff on respectful customer interactions and cultural sensitivity. All customers deserve to be treated with kindness and attentiveness, regardless of their background. I expected much better from this brand. Until significant changes are made in staff behavior and store policy, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and sticking to online shopping to avoid such hurtful experiences in the future.
