Great selection for the shop size, they have remote control boats, helicopters, vehicles and airplanes. Their model selection was decent and cover a wide variety of car models both classic and new. They only had one diecast/metal car kit but the majority of their inventory are the plastic kits requiring glue to assemble. There's a nice selection of paints, paint brushes and tools as well as wood and metal sheets and rods. They even have kits for Pokemon and anime figures as well as National Geographic kids dig kits and other scientific fun stuff. If you are into model trains they carry track and a few other model train parts. We were even pleasantly surprised they carried multiple Kites to include a cool dragon shaped kite. Customer service was outstanding and the two gentleman working were very helpful, knowledgeable and familiar with the store. When asked if they had a particular item they lead us directly to it instead of just telling us where to go. They even opened and held the door open for us since my wife was in a wheelchair. ♿️ The store is wheelchair accessible and we had no problem maneuvering through the...
Read moreVERY DISSAPOINTED! I just got my first Brushless 1/16 RC car for Christmas and took it into the shop to get some info tips etc.. The employees dont wanna offer knowledge and help unless it's about Traxxass or the other high end brand they sell. A good trained employee would simply look at the cars components and be able to give you some info but with this place if it ain't traxxass parts ot accessories they are dont wanna deal with it. Seeing as how RC cars are getting cheaper and you can get a really nice brushless car under $100 from china, you may wanna have some knowledge of what's trending and selling. I was able to get more info from a phone call with another hobby shop down south. Be passionate about your job and Hobby and realize not everyone can afford a traxxass or doesnt wanna pay that much but we still wanna join the...
Read moreAll I can say is WOW! Nice location. I usually frequent the Norman Hobby town store because it's closer to my home, but the layout just isn't inviting. I had to be in the Edmond area today so I thought I would stop by this location to pick up some much needed Tamiya paints and was greeted with a bright, well organized store, with the products in stock unlike the other location. It may be further to drive to the Edmond location but it's well worth it to have my needed items be in stock! Super friendly staff. I was even asked if I was a Hobby town Rewards member and I said no as I didn't know that it existed. Was never asked that at the Norman Hobby town. So, I am now signed up to get $5 off coupon every time I spend $100. 00 in merchandise! This is my new...
