City Kids Quality Consignments — Local services in Edmonds

It is true that many times the store isn't open during stated business hours but the merchandise is so good that it's worth the hassle. I just call before going now and I hate making phone calls so the fact that it's worth it to me says a lot. The store has significantly higher quality items than any other consignment stores in the area. Many of the other stores just carry items from places like Target at basically the same price that we could buy them new, but CityKids has interesting items from high quality brands. I have driven to the store twice now during business hours and the store has been closed, with no sign on the door stating when it will reopen. I will not be trying a third time, and caution anyone from making the trip. Don’t waste your time!

UPDATE: I broke my own vow, and tried going a third time. I was driving by, could see items out in front of the store so I knew 100% they were open. Parked my car. Get out. THEY WERE CLOSED. I’m only giving 5 stars because it is a family business and I saw another review reply that said she seems to be struggling to keep it open during stated business hours. If there were some sort of site or something where it could have been communicated (a FB page updated last 2021 could help,) it would have saved me the drive from Kenmore.
