I want to rate this Goodwill higher. The staff is nice and helpful. It’s a convenient location. Reasonably organized. My big beef is the pricing. I’ve seen pilly Carter’s baby pajamas for $9.99 (they’re usually $8 new on the Carter’s website). Corelle dishes for $5.99 each (same ones come in a 6-pack for $19.99 at Target—which is $3 each new). A picture frame with the Home Goods sticker on the back for less than the Goodwill price. An absolutely destroyed Le Creucet enamel Dutch oven for $79.99 (same one is $160 new, but the one at Goodwill was completely worn out with scratched and chipped enamel). And most recently this sample pot of used paint from Home Depot for $4.99 (not sure what these cost new but I think it’s a couple dollars and then you get to choose the color—this is literally trash and if you go through the drive through where you donate, the sign says they don’t accept paint). To be fair, I talked to a manager about the Corelle dishes and they lowered the price, but there are many times I see something I like and don’t have the energy to argue over price, but on principle I won’t pay more than new. I love thrifting and prefer to buy second hand due to sustainability, but I can’t bring myself to pay more than the same items would...
Read moreI don’t take leaving negative reviews lightly, but I believe the management at this Goodwill location could benefit from some honest feedback.
As someone who regularly shops at Goodwill stores throughout Snohomish and King County, I was shocked by how inflated the prices are here—often double or even triple what nearby locations charge for similar items. It’s disappointing to see such a stark difference, especially from a nonprofit organization that claims to serve the community.
Beyond pricing, the lack organization of the store make browsing difficult. Overpriced items are overcrowded on shelves, making it hard to access anything without having to remove items first. This is especially concerning given that many of this location’s regular shoppers are seniors. The combination of high prices and poor accessibility suggests a lack of consideration for their customer base.
I plan to revisit this location in two weeks and will update my review if I see improvements. For now, I can’t recommend shopping here—it simply isn’t worth your...
Read moreI recently visited the Goodwill store and had an unfortunate experience that I feel compelled to share. During my visit, I encountered a staff member who was extremely rude and unprofessional. This individual not only told me not to come back but also spoke to me in a manner that was hurtful and disrespectful.
As someone who has worked in retail, I understand the importance of treating customers with respect and kindness. It is disappointing to see that this standard is not being upheld by all employees at Goodwill. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect well on the organization.
I hope that Goodwill will address this issue and ensure that all staff members are trained to provide a welcoming and respectful environment for all customers. No one should have to experience such treatment, and I believe that with the right measures, Goodwill can improve its customer...
